Matchbook deliberately slowed?

Not sure if you've checked out the soccer liquidity since, but you shouldn't have noticed any difference - we are still 0% commission on soccer handicap markets and all the key numbers that we look at have been maintained since April 1st.

Reckon liquidity has dropped a bit.
Price has drifted a bit as well - not enough to stop using match as long as it doesn't get worse.
asians are a bit hit and miss as well - especially lacking on -0.5/+0.5 markets - guess you are favouring comm payers instead and are putting up splits instead.

beta (or current iteration) site is poorly designed for navigation and clarity of overview.
Old site much better (though not great in this respect)

you don't really need -0.5/+0.5 markets as they are effectively the same as backing your team or laying the opponent

in the last days there was so much liquidy in the LIVE nba markets but tonight its terrible..

yep but zero comms on these markets (which is why I guess they seem a bit reluctant to put them up)
splits are doable but bit more of a pita if in a hurry

yes this was live... something very strange happened

I was trading sports @matchbook during the games miami-charlotte, dallas-san antonio and the night before... I could bet easily 5000€ live... but since then nothing is going live. no liquidity at all at the rockets/blazers game and yesterday... I really dont know why....

how is liquidity right for you right now in the nets game?

ok the liquidity in the nets game is nearly zero

but you can trade nicely the bulls game. high liquidy.. maybe because the game is on espn...

What you will see next Monday is the pre-2011 version of the Matchbook site - as the mail says, the betting functionality, which is the most important thing to you, will remain the same, this is mainly an aesthetic change.

I would ask that you try and report any issues you find on new site, either to support or even DM me here - screenshots are very important - if you do find something that we can re-produce, then we will fix it.

Just letting you know that once again today I found the new site reporting inaccurate information. So I went to the old site and got confirmation of what I thought was the position regarding an order I had placed.

I've sent a report with screenshots to Support.

Until the new site has had all these things rectified you must maintain the old site.

I don't frequent other forums which have discussed Matchbook so I'm glad to hear it's not just me in here complaining about the glitches.
It does seem to me that Matchbook are blind to such criticism as I never seem to get any responses to my email complaints. But seeing Mike's last post it seems they must lose them!

Yeah speed of the new website is fine but as you said there are occasional bugs I notice. MB Mike, can you please forward this to the appropriate people... When you change your 'to win' amount, this doesn't automatically change the risk amount like in the old version... caused me to submit the wrong amount. Would be nice if that was fixed. Also a little annoying you have to click on a game to view all the markets for it.

I think if Mike just makes these minor changes most people will use the new site and phase out the old site

I am sure the new site has a better backbone and much more potential for the future as far as enhancements

Well today they were down awhile for "scheduled maintenance".
Pity they didn't forewarn us or put up an appropriate message instead of us having to keep trying without success.
And the maintenance seems to have introduced yet another neat trick:
I've just spent about 15 mins putting up a series of bets and then get a message saying I've been logged out because I haven't used the site for a while!

And once again I had to go to the old site to have a bet on MLB Oakland @ Baltimore as the game wasn't listed on the new site.

It is now, but wasn't when I wanted to bet on it a few hours ago.
