aight so for example if say the line is
Team A -6.5 -105
and
Team B + 6.5 -115
does that mean that Pinny is leaning towards team B?

Cris takes positions much more than pinny imo. Pinny is like a market maker on an exchange.

no. pinny just reverses juice and gets both sides.

No, but if they have 6.5 when the market has 7, the lean is on the dog.

Exactly, and this would be a SIGNIFICANT lean if it's a 7, assuming NFL of course. A pinnacle or cris lean is if virtually every major offshore had a certain number on a game and there line is shading a point or a half point to either the fave or dog. Doesn't matter which. What the book is doing is trying to give you a "good number" on what they feel is the wrong side
some people feel it is smart to bet with their opinion elsewhere.

A good example is if every book out there has the same line on a game, say, -4.5 -110.
Pinnacle hangs -4.5 -111. That shows you they don't want action on the -4.5 side.
