I just tried to make a bet for MNF and got a message my account was suspended. I called and they said there was no manager there to discuss but I had two accounts at this IP address. I told them this had to be a mistake and they said it was now closed permanently and a manager would contact me tomorrow. There's no way there's another account in the house and I've never had another book say this to me. Seems really sketchy.

Having a duplicate IP address can happen if you dont have a static IP address from your service provider. There are other ways for yours to show up as a dup ip as well. They are probably just playing it safe, hopefully you can get it straightened out tomorrow.Comment -

Get her on the phone - and she says I'm going to have to wait to talk to a manager.
Then some guy who isn't the manager comes on and says I'm operating two accounts from this address, one in Canada (where I am) and one from North Carolina and that the manager would call me at 11:00 their time. He says that Marcel tried to call me yesterday but I didn't answer. Marcel has successfully called me in the past and my phone show no missed calls.
I promise everyone I do not have two accounts and don't know anyone in North Carolina. Is this a trick books use to close profitable accounts? The spot I'm in is how to disprove what they are saying?Comment -
Thinking Wager web would just tell you that they closed your account because you aren't a rec player flat out.
Being a profitable player is a good reason to have another account. No idea about your case, nor really care. Just saying that is a good reason to open another account.
Hope you get it resolved, but it is a tough situation to be in, especially if you didn't do it. All you really could say is f them.Comment -

The Eagles-Bears props were not adjusted to account for the playoff scenarios that surfaced as a result of the afternoon games. I went hard on unders on Eagles passing and receiving props on the hypothesis that they wouldn't play the starters the whole game and would run a lot to keep the clock moving. UPDATE - The issue has been resolved and the account has been restored.
Not sure what to make of this, but all's well that ends well I guess. Could have done without the aggravation over Christmas but whatever. In the end Marcel did resolve it.Comment -
