Intertops Voiding Winning Wagers

See screenshot below. Intertops recently installed a new live wager system. They have been having kinks with it and when I won a +550 wager, they quickly claimed the odds were wrong. Here is their explanation:

"Intertops cannot under any circumstances be held responsible for any mistakes in the publishing of prices or other palpable errors which lead to prices or conditions being posted other than those intended, or bets being accepted that contravene these rules. Despite our every effort to ensure total accuracy, we reserve the right to correct obvious errors. For bets placed in-running that are accepted at incorrect prices and are obvious errors, all bets will be made void and the customer will NOT be contacted."

It is the second and third wager down on the below screenshot. I will not be playing with them again.

How much time was left in the game when you bet the no goal +550? It'll be pretty easy to tell if it was an obvious line error or not.

All live betting platforms will void wagers that are OBVIOUS. Not a soccer guy by any means but I'll be able to tell you if you have a case based on the time in the game of your bet.

No second half goals was best priced +300 pre match, then you have a few mins before half time and stoppages so should be +375, then knock off a little for the fact it was already low scoring..
so +350 seems reasonable..... +550 is too much, but id expect to be paid at corrected odds for sure.

They never even offered to credit the winnings at the corrected odds. They said they would only void the wagers. In addition, per their policy, they had no intention of even contacting me to let me know they were doing it. I only found out because the wager had not been graded in over 7 hours.

In my opinion, the book is a scam and is not worth playing at.

I figured it would be in the 350ish range at the half so by the time he placed the wager, 550 isn't THAT extreme in my opinion. Should probably be in the 4 range at that point. Far from an obvious line error. This kinda "error" really depends on the book. It wouldn't be a universal automatic cancel.

Its not extreme at all. The Palaple error rule is supposed to be a back up for books when they really fukk up on something, not this..
But its in the rules, so i dont think you can do much - it clearly says they void bets instead of checking the correct odds which would be easy to do.
The problem with voiding the bet is that you never really know if the losing side who took overs at the wrong price, also got a a refund..

Whats wrong with offering a corrected price? The wager won. The book would then avoid having people suspect that they didn't only void his wager but also voided the losing wagers at -750 or whatever they may have been as mentioned above. $500 is not a small amount and the books seem to have an easy out for any errors they make.

What ever happened to "you book the bet, you pay the bet"?

Could you imagine betting with your buddies and losing your wager, then claiming to your buddy that you made a line error therefore you dont have to pay? Lol. An ass whupping would be on deck for sure
