People say not to leave a lot of money in off shore books. What exactly is a lot of money? What books are safe to have a lot of money in? Heritage, Book Makee, BEt DSI? Im curious to know what would be safe and if so how much and what books.

#2a safe amount would be what you can afford to lose. don't have so much that it will effect your life if you are ripped off of every penny.Comment -

#6Times have changed. I remember when I had upwards of $50K in an offshore (of their money, I will add) and over $100K in a registered book that even had a direct account manager. I got lucky and avoided black friday as I lived in Europe at the time). Now since those of us in the US cannot use UK registered books anymore it has become a risk for us mid level bettors who need a $10-$20K bankroll to successfully operate.Comment -

#7Would it be safe to say that the books I mentioned are as safe as it gets? I think Heritage is pretty solid. Any thoughts on them?Comment -

#11Bookmaker (totally safe, no limit collars and accepts U.S. residents. Great live wagering platform as well)
Heritage and 5 dimes, totally safe, accepts U.S residents but will cut limits of winning players)
For those in Europe who have way more choices, you have the above along with pinnacle and BetFair who don't cut limits but BetFair has that premium charge up to 60%. There's also Bet 365 who cuts limits faster than anybody but has the best live wagering platform out there.
Putting money in any other book makes no sense at all.Comment -

I never hear talk about Unibet on here but it was an excellent book years ago. I had my best run on there and not once did they cut my limits. They had an option where you could 'sell' your bets for 75% of the price if it has a good chance of winning. They paid immediately as well.Comment
