Pinnacle new general rule - beginning of something...?
They made an announcement today, which says:

Please note our new general rule #3: pinnacle Sports reserves the right to refuse, reject or suspend without prior notification any customer who is suspected of cheating, hacking, attacking, manipulating or damaging our normal betting operations (including the Internet Betting Service). Any bets made with the intention to cheat, hack, attack, manipulate or damage our betting operations will be void without prior notification at the discretion of Pinnacle Sports.

Hope this is not prelude to future limits/closing of winning accounts.

As long as the winnings are honest, there should be no problem. They welcome winning accounts because it helps shape their lines, but they do not tolerate cheaters. Hope you understand the difference.

I understand the difference, and I know how they operate, just thought it could be more behind it, I'm sure they have decent security system.

There's nothing more behing it. They already have a clause in their T&C that allows them to limit/close accounts for commercial reasons.

I don't think there is more behind it, it's probably just that there are enough fraudsters, cheaters out there. Now instead of just citing rule 20 when booting someone with a dubious record, they just give them the new rule 3.

Manipulating is the key word here. If your not doing it, don't worry.

It seems like they've been getting cyber attacked a lot lately. Wonder if that has anything to do with it.

Look at "news" on the top of the site, and you'll see recent times when service was restored. In most of those cases, before it was restored, they didn't accept bet for a certain amount of time (yesterday it was a while). I assume that is due to some kind of attack. Once they restore it, everything runs like it always has been.
