#2They are a legal US pari-mutuel book. TVG is very secure, although I prefer twinspires.com.Comment

#6John, there are a lot of regulated adw sites that have a really good first deposit load bonus. Off the top of my head idabet is one.Comment

#7offshore books give much better deals with cashback since they aren't taxed. Bookmaker, bovada both have cashback, 5 dimes probably does not sure, most offshore books used to all offer 5-8% cash back on wager volume, win/lose doesn't matter you get a rebate. Exotics have a cap on payoffs at offshore books so if you like them stick to the U.S. based sites all other bets, even exactas you'll get a better deal offshore. That is after you bonus whore all the legal sites, but for straight betting I stick to offshore.Comment

#9Serously? I don't know any that don't pay track odds. They have limits on exotics but still pay track odds. They can pay them and offer rebate because they aren't taxed to death like the tracks are in the states.Originally posted by johnpendredoffshore books don't pay track odds, at least none that I know of
What do the books pay that you play at, less than track odds Comment Comment

This couldn't be further from the truth. As a blanket statement covering all offshore books, you are correct. There are certain books where it isn't a bad idea. You have to understand what the pros and cons are. If your aim is to take down a big pick 6 with a pool of 1 mil, no don't play offshore.Comment

Absolutely no reason to go with tvg or twinspires as your main out. The ones I mentioned above give some sort of a rebate as well.

Pretty sure all give decent sign up bonuses. If you play alot of exotics like pick 3, pick 4 and trifectas offtrackbetting.com offers over 8% rebate at Aqueduct. Even bigger rebates for lesser played tracks. Only legal site Ive found that is somewhat competitive with offshore rebates. if you play NYRA tracks regurally and are playing at another ADW you are almost certainly making a mistake.

Link to see the rebates for specific tracks...
