I owed by canbet 1505 euros and i requested a withdraw since the end of October.
I'm reading this thread from the first day and it's my first time posting here.

Owed £2523 and doing one of their £500 bonuses and after receiving their latest email think I may have wasted another £80 issuing a court claim against them but time will tell.

They have till the 16th Feb to defend or admit, but not holding breath, just wondering whether its worth entering judgement against them or what?

Can't believe they have asked the parent company for help and they have said no but seems to show that money means more than customer confidence and goodwill?

As of post #571, the declared amount owed in this thread is approx 256,547 GBP or $469,484 AUD. Within one day of asking and obviously not including the unsures. I'd hate to even guess what the true amount owed is.

I don't harbour much hope of getting my GBP 3,738.49 back, but it fills me with satisfaction to see that thanks to Shari's great work, Canbet's directors are now legitimately scared. Serves them right for their lackadaisical attitude to date, and for making false promises that my withdrawal from Oct 8 was delayed because their "finance department was making payments manually, and [were] working around the clock" to do so

I saw when this was posted earlier but I kept trying to come up with something decent to say other than "holy crap". My mind is blown. Before Canbet I had assumed since the UK is always held up as the gold standard in betting that they would've required bettors' funds to be ring fenced and if by some chance not, they would at least question a book trading at a loss.
