They are locking your founds after letting you deposit and bet, when you sending the docs they asking for, first there is no respond email, after you contact them they saying they are very busy and it can take up to 5 working days!! to verify an account - this is not wrriten anywhere on the site. other bookmakers takes max 1 day to procces the same verification request. of course that during that time your founds are locked and hold by marthon bet and they refuse to give you any info regarding to the account.

In my experience payouts were within minutes to moneybookers / skrill, but I got reduced to £1 max bets after a few weeks of constant arbing. Can't complain cos made a right few £ in short period of time.

They didn't lock my account after depositing. Limits were just around 25-30€ per bets on Champions league soccer. I wanted to bet that 200€ on a single bet. Those limits pissed me enough to push me to make a few long shot parlays with the 200€. I got good odds, so thought I'd rather try my luck with riskier parlays than bet 30€ singles. Unfortunately none of them hit, so didn't get to test their withdrawals speed,. I guess they would have asked for documents upon cashing out.

Also marathon is very clever they get themselves on all these arbing services and they most of the time are one side of the arb they must get a lot of sign-ups

They actually don't care if you hedge your bet at some other book or not, all they care is when you hit (only) their best odds. And that is unfortunately the case at the majority of other books as well.

Yes, i know it.But the best solution would be to fire their traders for being incapable ,not to close accounts.

If i don't hit the best price , then i would open only one account ( let's say Bet365) and i would place all the bets there ,whatever their prices would be.But,in fact we open several different bookmakers for the only reason to take the best price in the market.

never had any issues.....you should always send sh*t when you first open any account, that way they cant hold your money when it comes time to collect(or at least they SHOULDNT hold your money)

if you win or they think you are an arber then yes, i never bet more than 100 euros with them, just nibbled at their prices.. took them about 2 days to notice and stop me.

Stay far away from Marathonbet until they learn something about odds and respect to players. They can´t make money other than steal players funds. In short. Their linesmakers is to bad.....Now they have delays on the docs. Is this a big warning play at Marathonbet? I say YES it is. Many will have payment problems over time.

You can find surebets on most events and large arbs as well. Unfortunately, you can`t play at these odds. Then you will be QUICKLY limited to €£$1. After waiting ID documentation ..... Much work for nothing. The only thing that can happen is that you will be refused to get the documentation. It is very unfortunate that the major betting sites advertise Marathonbet ... Marathonbet destroy the whole betting market with their bad odds and more to come.

The two major complaints there are ID verification which is extremely slow and also limit players extremely quick

You do get paid though and the odds are pretty good when you do bet

Just keep that small there and try to grind out a few dollars

I never had to (all transactions via Skrill). Been betting with them for years . Never been limited . Ones won at the shop $30.000 and never been asked for an ID (cash over the counter) bills were already in stack as they knew the had a winner on this particular ticket.

JJ you know in all of this crying by punters what they forgot to mention in this thread ? If you are limited to $30 per on certain games league nor sport . THERE is NO LIMIT on HOW MANY TIMES YOU CAN REBET YOUR $30 and you don't have to wait a minute or 2 . My limits on NBA regular season $55000 on the spread . In live on absecure games $57 but i can rebet this games(after the bet is taken) instantly as many times as i want.
No other UK book will let you rebet the limit . And it's not a glitch Marathon is been this way for the last 10 years .Book moves lines /cents instantly.
This month alone i cashed out 3 times BIG . The money hits Skrill account almost instantly .Later on you get an automatic notification from Skrill that the money is in . In other words the money are in before you even get notification .

Just to revisit my own stupidity. Thanks Vitalyo for clarifying that one can rebet the limit as many times they like, even though odds will move naturally.

I logged in this morning and was very surprised when I saw I had some 230€ balance on the accoumt. Turns out, I have, by mistake, bet some kind of "Lose-to-Win accumulator" bets which will pay out if at least one selection on the parlay loses. Nice surprise I actually have over 200€ I thought I had lost over a month ago.

Asked for Neteller payout. It came almost instantly. No DOCS asked. Pretty good. Will certainly give them another try soon.
