clearly none of you know what is going on here. i am from minnesota and will explain.

tubby was a decent coach, but wasnt able to keep big time minnesota talent from leaving or transferring to other schools. 46-62 in big 10 play, never finishing higher then six.

big 10 and the big 10 network and timezone. nobody watches pac 12 basketball outside of the west coast. minnesota regularly got play on espn throughout the season. pac 12 isnt close to the big 10.
