Parlays have a higher short-term variability compared to other wager types, even though the basic house edge is often stronger. I suppose some locals don't want to carry the bankroll to cover guys that hit big parlays.

That being said, it is pretty uncommon for an agent to ask us to disable parlays for his players, so based on our sampling of the local world, I would say that is an unusual stance.
