Be carefull at Pinnacle Website... I back clicked my browser 2 and lost money
I made a live bet, MLB Toronto +1.5 run in the bottom of the 8th.

I back clicked my browser.. perhaps 2 times.. and it placed 2 more bets without me being aware.

Not alot of money but half my BR.

I don't know if its My fault... or .. something Ill just have to suck up. I feel it wasn't completely my fault.

The lost in extra innings... my +1.5 didn't offer protection. Coulda been a nice win.. but why ... must I get this sorta weird luck!

Ive never tilted in Sports Betting B4... and I don't consider what I just did to be tilt..

my Sports betting didn't succeed this year. It was very low, and the mistake of mentioned above didn't help.

So I just bet it all on baltimore live - lost it
I had made good money last year. gonna have to sit out until 2014

sorry to hear that, but 3 bets was half your bankroll? send them an email and let them know. if they see that the bets were placed within a few seconds of each other maybe they will be understanding and cancel at least 1 of them.

3 bets was my bank roll because ... My season was not successful. And I was down to very little.

I saw a great bet in live play.. and I put a larger portion than normal on it.
x3 and it took a chunk.

        thx

Email pinnacle, explain your situation, they should have a way of verifying if it's true. They have great support so there's a chance you might get the 2 late bets voided. I wouldn't plead that it's half my bankroll though, they might take it the wrong way.

Contact them as soon as possible.

I never back click, just for fear of the bet going through again.

I hope they void 2 of the bets for you.

              Back click dangerous
Maybe if you call they will see the bet you made does not match you're daily betting patterns

Did you tell them straight away or wait and see what the result was?
Back click is NOT the same as placing a bet, so you are in the right here.... but if you waited then it makes your claim less credible.
But i think you should get a refund... good luck.

good point, should've let them know right away because you waited and let it ride out they might see this as taking a shot at them and will likely not refund your money.

In all honesty, didnt notice .. untill after the game was finished.
I get the point that had I back clicked and knew the bet was placed.. i could have won.

My only real argument or dispute is the way the website functions.

Ill post something when I hear back from them.

                        UPDATE:

Pinnacle reviewed it and acknowledged something went wrong.
                        They reinstated the 2 bets.

I think this was a fair action by them. And while my luck at Pinnacle has been quite bad, its good to know the live up to their fair reputation.

Thought I'd let you all know.

                          Reocurring problem.

Definitely a problem with their website. The same thing happened to me. I had put in a very obscure amount (account roundoff) and clicked accept. Then clicked back and some error came up (don't remember what it said but I know i didn't understand it).

Then thinking it was good value put 1 unit on it.

I come back couple of hours later while the game is still in play (losing) and I find out my balance is weird where it should be a nice round number. Turns out when I clicked back it bet twice the account round off amount and then my extra wager for 1 unit.

I emailed Pinnacle who said they can't cancel anything, fair enough but the duplicate should be reinstated. I'm not sure if it's going to be harder since I willingy placed two bets within a minute of each other but turned out to be three.

Hopefully Pinny comes to the same conclusion.

By back-clicking you went to the place bet screen again - essentially you told your browser to put the bet on again. Pretty sure the pinnacle website even specifically says not to do this.

If Pinnacle acknowledges an issue they should have fixed it or made it clearer. Either way, if I had clicked accept again then I will take the hit but for it to automatically place the amount, submit bet and then accept it without me clicking anything else, then there's a problem.

You cant tell customers "dont back click, because we suck at web design".
                                Its no excuse.

but if they catch a customer that is trying to take advantage of this by back clicking and waiting for the result to see if he lost the bet to contact support, then they will probably give you a final warning before they close your account.

I don't understand why the OP did not contact support immediately to tell them about this potential glitch. The fact that he waited for the game result is not cool. Could have at least warned us

A little update - They won't give me a refund because their IT department has reviewed it and seen that I had confirmed all the bets. That's not the problem however, the problem is that there was page prompting confirmation. It did confirm a bet, automatically.

I've replied to their email stating my case again and to acknowledge there's a problem first.
