Wagerweb be aware!!!

Hey guys,

just wanted to let everybody know that I just got burned by Wagerweb. I had an account with legends. It was said that those accounts went over to wagerweb. I contacted them about activating my account and guess what, they refuse!!! I had $289 in that account left, that is money that they simply refuse by not activating my account.


I contacted customer service by phone since after a while they refused to talk to me on the chat. I talked to a guy named Xavier who literally was the rudest person I have ever talked to.

Unbelievable that such a sportsbook still exists out there.

Not surprising, no reason at all to play at this book unless u cant say no to bonuses, but like u alot of posters didn't have a choice with the legends crap. Hope u get paid and get to a solid book. Goodluck pal, im sure its probably just a glitch but get to a solid book asap

and yes I deposited there b4 I knew better so im speaking from experience. Lucky for me only took 1 time to see how bad this book is.

I JUST BURNED BY WAGERWEB!!! i would highly suggest avoiding those people. I had a legends account with $289 in it, wanted to activate that account on wagerweb and they are refusing to do it!!! So they are just taking it. I really feel sorry for all of the legend accounts that were transfered. Customer service btw is horrible. After they stopped talking to me via chat I called them up and they still refuse. Matter of fact the guy I talked to, Xavier, called me names on the phone before hanging up.

I am shocked how this business is still alive.

According to the book, you called today saying you wanted to be paid your funds immediately without rolling over the 5X. You allegedly threatened to contact authorities saying you didn't authorize the book to transfer your funds from Legends.

You may have just stumbled on the situation but Legends gaming license was revoked in Panama forcing them to close. WagerWeb assumed all cash balances with a 5X rollover. The original rollover was double but it was reduced to make it easier on players.

Management indicates you are welcomed to complete the rollover as normal - If I were you, I'd apologize for my misguided hostility and begin chipping away at the turnover requirement.

You're going to have to give a few minutes for customer service to get the memo, as the last thing they have to go on is your stating that you do not want to play there and that you'll be complaining to authorities.

Spot on about offshore. I have stopped depositing offshore. Too many headaches when the market was ok...now its a nightmare. Put down the burden and go with a local if you have to. I cross the border to Canada to place wagers now.

After the BI fiasco, I dont do biz with any book that I linked to from SBR. An affiliate is all they are now...shame sbr was good for years.

I had a balance at Legends....I still have not even investigated whether its at WW or not. I consider it gone...too much of a headache.

Since my last post there have been some happenings that I would like to set straight. When I opened that thread I did not understand what just happened to legends. I firmly believed that my account was sold or transferred and therefore was upset about the rollover requirements. I now understand however that legends is gone and that my account was saved by wagerweb to at least give me the chance to continue betting.

I apologize for accusations and threats I made, they were simply wrong and based on wrong information.

Shame about the whole US market. I have been dying to try another book but just realize its not the hassle.
