Ha, I guess writing up what happened is better than nothing at all, but there's nothing in there posters don't already know. I get that you work for SBR and you have to back them up but the bottom line is that posters are getting screwed for the second time this year by a sportsbook heavily promoted by SBR and the response is effectively "sucks to be you"

I don't think that's fair. I don't think anyone said it sucks to be you and that has nothing to do with whether I work here or not. Legends was a great book. Again there were no payout problems even after they were indicted up until they had their licence revoked. As I said in another thread there was absolutely zero benefit to be had by Legends or even SBR (if you're one of those who thinks it's SBR's fault) to tell people the bailout would be coming from an A book with 2x rollover if 2 days later an email would be sent out saying differently. Like I mentioned in that other thread, when I went to bed and Admin was logging off for the night our biggest concern was that the 48hr deadline was approaching and we were hoping that it wasn't typical CR slow moving stuff because we knew people would be understandably concerned if the deadline blew out by even one day. When I woke up I checked this thread as it was near the top of view new posts, saw Kraken's question to me and then moved a page back. That's the first I heard of Wagerweb involved in this as I didn't receive the 2nd email and by fluke I found out before SBR bigwigs did. I wouldn't want my money in Wagerweb after trixtrix's problems but then I see other people like robmpink and stevex who are happy there so I can't use what I feel ok with as a barometer for anyone else. If it were me I'd be upset and pissed off because my hopes had been raised after that first email that this wasn't going to be like the majority of other bailouts. But then I guess I'd be thankful my cash was still alive so I'd do my research and decide what I felt comfortable with ie staying there or not. I'd personally be doing my best to clear the rollover and gtfo but I've said a million times my risk tolerance is slim to none so I'm not the best example to use.

Their whole mission of trying to help (10x helping?) and then being so strict contradicts itself.

I agree with others on the worry that large balances will automatically be labeled pro if they get through the rollover with a large balance intact and want to withdraw. Also, there is the worry about limits for those with large balances.

I haven't talked to anyone from SBR yet about this so this is me just trying to be logical as best I can. There's a reason that initial deal fell through. My guess is because when the A book actually looked at the current people on Legends' sheet, most would have already been at their book. Remember, Legends was not even close to just being an SBR book. I'll cop that a bit for BI even though they were getting clients everywhere but Legends was a huge book that was much bigger than SBR. Their credit side alone would dwarf most books and obviously we don't deal with credit. So even though the arrangement was in place that this was Legends' contingency plan and the agreement had been made, when you get to books near the top of the heap (well rated at SBR or not) people cross over to all of them. Whatever it is I have no clue yet so again THIS IS JUST ME SPECULATING.

(trying to do a paragraph break for Deemer) However the one bright side of all of this - which I realise is of little consolation but trying to think positively - is that everyone and their dog knew of that initial email that went out. So when Wagerweb agreed to assume these accounts they knew what they were getting. If someone like you for example who has a pretty normal sized balance is all of a sudden labelled a pro simply because you're trying to clear off the rollover, that would be the worst PR imaginable. Even people who love that book couldn't stick up for that behaviour. I do trust they'll allow you to play through. There is absolutely zero excuse possible for them not to allow it other than the obvious stuff that would stick you at any other book ie trying to take shots, multi accounting, etc.

I asked them for a contact number or email for legends and they said they were not partner with them so no contact info.....u can tell already what kind of book we are dealing with here. For those with ********* from legends, you can kiss your money goodbye.....I am losing $4000 here!!!

3. I have 2 outstanding checks from Legends and I don't know if that is going to show up in my WW balance. Not bounced checks, just checks that were requested but apparently never sent. Anyone know?

I am in the same situation. Here is what they told me in live chat...

L I was one of the Legends customers transferred to this book. The day before Legends closed shop, I had made a $1500 withdrawal, which was obviously never sent by Legends. But that $1500 is missing from my balance. How can this be resolved?
