So i've been in the game for a little while, as I'm sure most of you have, but i need help! This story is so ridiculous, I cant even believe it's happening. Long story short, I was using BoDog since i started betting online. But they are at the point were they are taking over a month to pay out, so I recently decided to switch books. After doing some research, I decided to go with BetEd because they looked to have the fastest payouts (free of charge) and I liked how there site was set up. So I just opened the account not even a week ago. I made my initial $100 deposit on Sun and by Wed, had my account up to $4200. NOW, with BoDog I always deposited w/u. But with BetEd, I noticed, and was shocked, they had an Echeck deposit option for US players (which states free of charge). So instead of running to the local w/u office and having to pay fees, I decided to try it. I used a checking account I have setup ONLY for online purchases of any kind, and I keep a minimal balance in there. I never use my personal accounts for online transactions because of the potential for fraud. Well there terms & conditions states "you must have the funds avail at the time of the deposit, as well as when the ACH transfer is actually completed". Which I did!!!!! I had EXACTLY $100 in there to cover my deposit. Now here's the problem. When the transaction went thru 4 days later (after I was up to $4200) they chgrd $99.88 (instead of an even $100, to not make it look suspicious i guess) AND either their 3rd party processor or my bank added an "international service fee" of $1.99 for the transaction. So $99.88 + $1.99 = $101.87. So since i had EXACTLY $100 in the account to cover my deposit, the ACH transfer was declined for NSF. So immediately after I saw this happened I emaild cust serv for BetEd and advised what had happened. I said I would send screenshots or make a conference call to my bank to prove that 1)The funds were there when i made the deposit 2) the funds where there when the ACH was actually attempted 3) That because of an "intl serv fee" the ACH was declined. Now i'm not saying it's there fault that they didnt advise me there might fee an additional fee, and I know it's not my fault because I had my deposit amount avail for withdrawl!! I also stated that NOW I know there is add fees, the ACH can be resubmitted and it will go thru. Well, they just gave me the standard B.S. about how if any ACH is returned, all winnings will be rolled back, blah, blah, blah....Basically there way get out of paying. I understand they have rules like this to protect them against seedy players always trying to cut and run, BUT I can prove there was no intent to not pay as the funds have been avail for their withdrawl from BetEd the whole time since deposit was made. So long story short, I got the standard b.s. email from them saying it will take 7 to 10 business days to receive confirmation of the transaction". WHICH REALLY ONLY APPLIES IF YOU WANT TO WITHDRAWL, BECAUSE IN ABOUT 12 HOURS after my initial email explaining what happened, they locked my account and wiped out all the funds. Basically like i dont exist and nothing ever happened, BUT IF I LOST the initial deposit, and they couldnt get there $100 they'd be on my ass like crazy. So can someone please tell me I'm not going to lose $4200 over $1.99 intl serv fee!!!!!!!!! Cause if so, I'll just shoot myself now!!!!!!! Any help from fellow players or moderator would be greatly appreciated!!!! Please dont respond to this thread if I'm just gonna get the usual "your screwed, nothing you can do" These books can do whatever they want at any time and were pretty much powerless...i already know that...but all they have in this game is their reputation and I want everyone to know how BetEd is so quick to use something SO STUPID to get out of paying their customers!!!!!

#2This fee must gave been charged by your bank. I used Ed alot in the past and have never been charged that fee for echeck. I would fill out the complaint form on SBR and see what happens. You should remove processor nameComment -

#3If money is that important to you, I think you should shoot yourself, for not leaving at least $10-$30 extra in the account over what you needed to clear a check.
Shit happens.
Hate to say it, but I don't like your chances. The books have very little tolerance with returned items.Comment -

#4First off, Welcome to the SBR forum
It does sound like it was some type of charge your bank might have imposed on you. However, if you need some assistance with this, please feel free to fill out a complaint form and one of us will look into this a bit closer.Comment -

#5Those of us who remember sexygamblerchick may not be too surprised to hear of this. It is very serious when a book retroactively changes bets that were accepted. They would undoubtedly not have refunded your losses (had you lost).
This is not the first time. If there's a little thing they can put their finger on BetEd may steal thousands of dollars from clients. And if the previous case, widely discussed here, is any indication, you lost that money. There's always hope though...

#6They were fine with me - deposited, won $7k or so, withdrew. OK took a few weeks with their $2.5k/week limit, but the payments were always there next day (neteller I think).
Course, $25 bet limits the day after I withdrew .......Comment -

#7You must have bounced a lot of checks. Usually the bank would still accept it, you would be negative $2, and have an insufficient funds fee. Also, every bank under the sun runs the transaction 2 or 3 times if it doesn't go through the first time. If you slept on this then you have no one to blame. You could have added the extra $2, plus the fee you incurred for not having enough funds.Comment -

#9Wow.
Strange because I have been charged international service fees by my bank for certain debit card transactions, never an e-check. But the weird fact is that my bank charges that fee as a seperate transaction. In other words they would have allowed the 99.88 charged and then the service fee would have just created a NSF fee by itself. Geeezz. By most of the sportsbook's rules with returned items all winnings are void, thus you are fighting an uphill battle against betEd.

#10Surprised your bank didn't have some kind of overdraft protection. If you have only $50 dollars in your checking account, you can still use it to pay a $200 dollar bill online or by check and it will clear. The only thing you have to deal with would be that $30-35 dollar overdraft fee. Your check would only bounced if you had absolutely no cash in your account, which could be the case here.
Your situation does not look good, sportsbooks are very clear when stating their rules and some even changes them as they go. Bottom line is, they're going to jack you if you give them the slightest excuse to.Comment -

#12They clearly state on their web site that if you don't have funds when that ACH hits the bank, all winnings are forfited.
I guess you made a mistake cutting it too close, just go on, if you need the money that much you sould not be playing.
SBR or anyone else can;t help you... just forget it..its your fault.Comment -
