New Jersey sports betting dead...for now

I would LOVE the supreme court to get involved in overturning the actual law…then it will be a free for all in the entire country, which would be a dream come true.

Could you imagine, bookie shops in Manhattan? Chicago? LA?

You are exactly right. It is disgusting what has happened to the place that used to call itself the "Land of the Free"!

Unless the law's thrown out by Congress it will never happen. My favorite part is how Goodell, Stern and the NCAA don't think we're going to do this anyway. And that people watch the games for the love of the sport. Which one of us has watched a game in the last 10 years where we didn't have action?

But instead of being smart and figuring out a way to tax and regulate, they continue to perpetuate the myths in their own collective clay heads. So we'll keep playing offshore and with locals, and they won't see a penny of the action. Just play with the right people and you never have to worry about getting paid.

And you should all feel free to bet on 4-legged animals and the lottery, those are somehow acceptable.

These people are so ignorant it defies description.
