#4SBR John also said they would send someone over to Betislands former offices to see what was there now. He said it would be done after the holidays were over. I'm starting to wonder which holidays he meant.Comment -

#10Betislands was initially associated with looselines/jazz sports, but parted ways. At that time Jon opened up 7redsports with EZ as an affiliate. He then worked out another deal with a credit bookie and move his tiny operation over to them. They also had a falling out when they realized how impossible it was to sustain a broken business model. Lastly, he took his 1.5 million player debt and a couple of key employees over to EZstreet when it was just too late. The entire time this happened SBR promoted bi as the next big thing. No matter who is or was associated with betislands is more worthless drivel. Greed caught everyone of them and you in the end. The Jon guy is the only person who got the last laugh. Time to close another dark and dirty chapter of offshore sportsbook scams.Comment -

#14Not sure Jon got the last laugh... this hurt him badly in the offshore industry. He was one of the few to walk into the industry and get a shot to end up train crashing it instead of doing it right and being set for the rest of his life in a rather comfortable life style. I would think he would be crying like a baby right now and numbing the pain with any and all available numbing agents which around these parts are many, readily available and cheap... this most likely will end up going very bad for him in the end which is the near future.Comment -

why even say stupid shit like this? if anything happens to him, it wont be from anyone he stiffed...it will be from his own doing...an overdose maybe... jesus there are so many stiff bookmakers in cr right now its a joke...and nobody is doing anything about them...why you think jon will be any different is beyond me...
this is as stupid as you getting the masses excited about a bailout from 3-4 books that never in a million fukking years was ever going to happen...anyone with a clue knew you were full of shit about that...or "your close sources"... how did that work out? i like you just fine, you seem to be quite intelligent, but you have been completely clueless about just about everything since you joined here...Comment -

#16My honest answer is NO....this guy has no plans of trying to pay back any BI customers. Period... it is just the way is is and from what I understand it wold not even be possible with th little he walked away with an dconsidering th amount of free time he has lately I would imagine he is quickly burning from what little he was able to walk away with financially considering his known forms of entertsntment... sad but true.Comment -

This is the basic framework for the offer to qualifying accounts, if this interests you and you would like to move forward please leave a direct channel for your contact in this inbox. I am just a middle man and receive nothing directly in financial compensation from this arrangement but the satisfaction of helping players and SBR. I believe this is a very good opportunity for you JW/SBR and I would see it go forward. I am including a sheet that will have qualifying accounts and amounts that they have qualified for as well. The formal copy has been reviewed by a player advocate team and has been found acceptable by them as well as the services involved from what I have been informed.
As I have mentioned if you are interested please respond with direct communication data other than skype SBR_Bill… the actual group representative would contact you in person tomorrow and discuss more in detail. I will not participate more other than passing on your contact information. I hope and truly believe their offer will help SBR regain the position of trust and respect it has had as well as put it at a higher level as well as launching the participating non advertisers, that have sound business practices and infrastructure, into a broader player/business focus group. I know that you have considered a few since the G and BJ merger with H for possible revenue streams and these would be perfect. I really do mean a perfect match for you, SBR and them as well. So this is a serious offer and after reviewing the sheet please supply the contact information asked for and they will take over for future communication. I have a very high regard for SBR as well as your current chosen advertisers as well as your overall ratings and player mediation procedures. Good luck, though it is not needed in this situation if you go forward. I have seen the numbers that came back from the analyst and it is what we refer to as a lock for all involved. I also have a very high regard for how you and your team have managed the forum under the current situation and I commend you for the liberties you have allowed the posters, this is by far the best and most open forum for players with equally good service data and ratings, except of course BI.
Note… estimated exposure in the worst case is approximately 30k with a 4% return or -4 hold. Best case is a bit better but is always best to plan for the worst. As I pointed out to them new player signup and conversion would be an approximate estimated cost of $10 per success unlike YouWagers estimated $300 per conversion based on marketing and advertising expenses.

Anyway.... you get the idea.... all none sharps were to be credited up to $5k based on their current balnce to help offsett deposits in... sharps in our opinion knew what they were getting into and balances excedding the 5k cap were being heald responsible for reckless behavior, having that much in funds in an offshore B rated skin is the hight of stupidity. This was a deal supported by 2 solid brands and possibly a third if others were agreed to the terms. This a copy of the beta offer and was reasonable for the parties involved except one. A complete bailout was unfeasible based on the time of year and the fact that the service was run so badly we did not consider the balances to ne actually earned funds....more like monopoly money. Add to the fact that many low rated or questionable services started to take advantage of the situation with deposit required glorified bonuses it just made the situation evenmore risky for well respected and rated brands to get involved in... what can I say. I tried and invested many hours and contacted many standup services to try and help you guys out... the green highlighted end balances are an example but that would continue down the sheet from the beginning as long as the balance did not exceed 5k... 5k was the cap for the no deposit offer for the qualifying accounts. It was the best I could do from standup services that basically included 3 in the end that could absorb the top hevy sheet. So saying, i DO NOT KNOW SHIT IS A LITTLE FAR FETCHED AND THAT I MADE EVERY EFFORT TO HELP YOU GUYS OUT... I am sure Daringly could even back me up on this...Comment -

#19Well Ray... fair enough. Alot of man hours and phone calls went into this and it crashed. So is a bit of a touchy subject, no pun intended. The services involved were an A and B service with over 10 yrs in the biz and strong infrastructure and and a third up and comer that would of taken on a limited amount of exposure but its addition would of helped the overall package. It was a solid deal but some disagread and that was the final word... the end. A waste of alot of my time I might add.... I basically blame the swags that came out of the woodwork with the crap depsosit offers/fake bailouts that screwed the pooch. This deal was not what you call a true bail out becaues of extenuating factors but I considered it fair and would of helped many that did not know better with no deposit requirement for a significant balance outley... what can I say. What is done is done... I am over it. Peace. Canot blame a guy for trying... Right.Comment -

#20I wonder how long you guys will cry about spilled milk. THE MONEY'S GONE. No 'bail out' was ever going to happen. Called 'stall tactics.' There was word about another place (read it here) accepting balances for ridiculous roll-overs. Hardly a compromise. It sucks, you got screwed. I've been screwed out of $10,000 a long time ago by a crap book. I was pissed but I got over it.Last edited by the_orangekat; 03-05-13, 07:12 PM.Comment -

#21And for you people threatening this 'Jon' guy, I don't know him but do you realize what s h i t you'll be in if he ends up dead and here you are posting on a public forum how the end is near or things won't end nice for him?
You got motive, stolen money. You got a credible threat.
Are you people seriously this d a m n stupid? You better edit that shit before some fed screen shots it and the B I fiasco will seem like childs-play to a murder investigation. Sucks, you got robbed but use some common-sense when using a public forum.Comment -

#24Jon.... the outcome is one or both of the following... dying of AIDs and or an OD... the end. Sounds lke a shitty way to go for one so young, greedy and stupid yet so much promising intelligence.. Let alone the hate karma following him... now and in the next deal... hhmmm. Not for me, I like to sleep at night and not worry about if there is an after life or not.... But yes, what little money there was is gone or i is quickly disappearing. This place aint cheap, the cost of living ranks up there with the US when I gotta spend 8 bucks on a McDees combo... this is far from a third world country no matter what many northeners may think. Money does not last long and you have to make a ton of it to live by anything close to a gringo standard...Comment -

#25For those saying Astros was wrong for keeping that overpayment, you still feeling that way now? When BetIslands ultimately steals everyone's funds due to their: incompetence, poor business model, & plethera of mistakes. Perhaps Astros was smart enough to beat BI to the punch?

#26Personally I do not think guys should keep over payments or do chargebacks.... it makes services adopt more draconian policies and procedures which in the end affect all... just saying, is a cause and effect thing if you know what I mean...Comment -
