Do all books grade a team wager as a loser if hockey game goes into overtime, but not a draw?

#3this book offered these three bets on an NHL game:

 NHL 3 way:
 1) team A wins +140
 2) team B wins +140
 3) Draw +280

One CS agent said either team bet wins if final score on NHL.com is not a tie (1-1, 2-2, 3-3, etc).

Another rep said all team side bets are losers if game goes into overtime, regardless of final score.

#43-way is resulted on regular time. It doesn't include OT and shootout otherwise the draw option is redundant.Comment

#5I understand what you're saying, but a draw us possible in regular season NHL. you'll see a team's record as 4-0-0 for example.Originally posted by muffins3-way is resulted on regular time. It doesn't include OT and shootout otherwise the draw option is redundant.

wording third option as a draw is highly misleading.Comment

#63-Way Line – This line is taking after Soccer lines and the most important note her is to understand that this is a Regulation Only wager, Overtime and Shootouts do not count, the wager is scored when regulation ends. The oddsmakers will set the 3-Way where you can choose either team to win or finish in a tie. The “juice” on a 3-way line is much lower then the money line and allows you to take a larger favourite and play them in regulation at a much lower cost. As an example, lets use Detroit and San Jose again; here is what the 3-way line would look like:

 Detroit +140
 San Jose +100
 Tie +240Comment

#7This is the equivalent of playing a or b -.5 goal in first 60 minutes (to get the better price). There are no "draws" in the nhl (unless ur in a time machine back in the early 90s). The only possible draw is a regulation draw and in the standings only a non regulation loss is counted in the third column. So if team b wins in a shootout its still a normal win in the standingsComment

wording third option as a draw is highly misleading. The third number is for overtime losses, not ties. Teams still earn a point for them, as opposed to the 3 points they get from a win. Barring chaos and the postponement of a game, it is physically impossible for an NHL game to end in a tie. The wager only regards regulation time.
