    I different bet islands thread.
This is only applicable to those that actually clicked the SBR banner link of betislands and then lost(NET LOSS). WHERE sbr MADE A COMMISION!
If SBR had any class they would refund commisons earned from losers that signed up an were tagged to them. Doing that would not cost them a fortune and would restore credibilty.

You have to click the sportsbook link on the SBR site for them to earn a percent of your losses.

SBR not volunterring to refund commisions earned from players that were tagged to their super affiliate account is admission we really enjoyed this dirty money.

They only earn commissions on losses. Whether it is individual player losses, or all affiliated players I don't know. But with a free half point, there shouldn't have been too many people losing money.
And if it is all affiliated players as a lump, I can almost assure you SBR gained nothing in commissions.

Now ad revenue is a whole other story.....

Just reiterating it. I have no clue as to how much people lost gambling (not due to scam) at BI. A monkey would have made money betting there, so I hope too many people didnt have net losses.

gothca, i'm sure here is alot of net losses, many not from players tagged to SBR and also guys that said this crap ruined thier christmas and they lost 10K , i bet thier net loss is probably 1K tops, theft is theft though and that was their money. SBR is greedy for not offering to refund commisons earned on net losses of player that signeed up though the SBR banner.

These BI threads could have been a lot more beneficial if everyone had your logic/reasoning ability.
SBR doesn't have to give ad revenue to people who were scammed, but giving out some of the $$ they earned thru commission would be a very nice gesture.
The only problems with this are
              1) how would you divvy it up? at absolute most, lets say SBR made $50,000 off player losses at BI (that's absurdly high I think, but who knows) that's like 4% of balances, sure it's some money, but lots of people would laugh at getting 4% of their $$.

              2) SBR is a business. The cost of losing posters over this will be negligible in the long run. So why pay for it if you don't have to?
That sounds greedy, but you see it on all sides, such as the guy who wants his money back even though he gambled it all away at BI.

wait, so you think that if a guy signed up to BI a year ago through a banner and quickly lost 1k , and never deposited again, that he deserves to get something back for that? ... thats the way your post reads...perhaps you could correct it so that it reads "if you signed up through a banner and had your balance stolen" ...something like that...

its not going to happen either way, but i agree that it never hurts to ask

This thread is useless. Clicking the banner or not, people you are referring to lost.

We should be more concerned with the 1.5 million in actual live money stolen.

Let's stick to the real victims.

Lets not forget before there was a BI banner they gave away a free $100 when you signed up and mentioned SBR. This was about 22 months ago. There were A LOT of people who did this, so in essence it is the same as clicking.

Yes, SBR should chip in all they made on commissions and advertising from BI as well as give some free advertising to the book that picks up the balances.

He is trying to say that SBR should pool the commissions they made from BI players, and use it to pay out portions of the outstanding balances. At least that's the way I read it.

thats how i processed it too, but with a few whack jobs running around thinking they deserve to get deposits back (even when they went bust and had no balance) i just wanted to make sure...
