Am I the only one reading the email he got from betfair as they are saying that he opened another account at betfair so that he did not have to pay fees they put on his account and they caught him and suspened his account.

Or that he is using a friends account and doing the same thing he was doing before deposit/withdraw often.

It says they're suspending his account, not confiscating the money.

OP: Have you tried e-mailing them, saying you accept the suspension (after all any company can chose who to do business with), won't open another account, and can they cash out your account.

Send betfair an email ASAP requesting your money & if they fail to do so, lodge a complaint with the gaming authority.

Good luck, keep us posted on your progress.

I have only one account with Betfair. I made a complaint to LGA and I am waiting their response.

Please suggest a good lawyer in Malta to start a lawsuit against Betfair

Why would people here have any idea on Maltese lawyers?

You don't need a lawyer.. You need to send them an e-mail regarding the situation. Have you done that? Ask to get your money back.

I sent them an email and they told me that they will not pay me , because they had a lot of charges with Moneybookers. What can I do?

it sounds like you're trying to avoid the premium charge by opening another account to reset your allowance and everything else associated with premium charges etc...
don't think you have much of a leg to stand on if this is the case

Be that as it may, but i don't see any scenario Betfair should be allowed to keep his balance. Void all bets maybe, but keeping it for themselves would be a pure robbery.

That is what they are saying, but neo is saying thats not the case, its word against word so kind of hard for us to decide whats actually going on by the details we have.

I agree, but at the same time if a customer would keep opening accounts under different names... if thats the case, I think deduct any banking fees as well as a minor "administration fee" wouldnt be unreasonable to charge.
