Question to any of you that play at 5dimes. I normally dont bet more than 100 or 200 dollars on a game. But i have been winning lately and my account is higher, so i wanted to start betting more. I noticed that when i tried to bet I think it was like 600 dollars, it said my limit was like 250. So i started playing around with different bets, and noticed, that on a regular game, not reduced juice i could bet 1000, but on reduced juice lines, I think the limit is 500, and live lines is 250, same thing with prop bets. My question is is this normal? It says when i put in an amount larger than it will allow, that my maximum amount has been reduced to whatever and so on. Is this normal at 5dimes? Is there a way to get the amount increased?

#2What are you betting? Are you betting reduced juice?
I was betting huge there when I went on a winning streak. Like $15k on a game and they didn't limit me. You bet the max on an NBA spread for example which is $5500 and then after a few minutes they let you bet again.Comment -

#3Yeah, like i said, on the regular lines, there doesnt seem to be a maximum for me. But when i click on the reduced juice line, they limit it at like 500. Weird. I bet all the time and have been for years, just never more than a couple hundred bucks on a game so never really noticed this. But now that i have more in the account, wanted to bet higher amounts and its the first time i noticed it. Same thing with prop bets. And live lines. When you bet the 15k was that on a regular spread. Did you ever try betting reduced juice, or live lines?Originally posted by LordVodkaWhat are you betting? Are you betting reduced juice?

You might find you have larger limits on gameday sometimes. Props are $250 for everyone..Comment -

#7Live Lines
I just realized i guess it doesnt really matter, cause you can bet on what you want more than once if its more than the limit. My only question is live lines. i love betting live lines, and noticed they limit those as well. Does anyone know what the limit is on live lines at dimes?Comment -

#8The live lines limits are usually $500 or so, sometimes $250 for NBA games.Comment -

#9Yea pretty normal. Depending on the line there are different max wagers. Obviously obscure props will have lower limits.Comment -

#11Ive been with 5dimes for 8 years. Bet mainly props: Initially I bet $500 a prop, 3 years ago $250 a prop, now my prop limit is $50 a prop.
Full games I can still bet $500 a game!Comment -

#12wager1, if you're able to bet $500 on reduced juice lines, then you have 100% normal limits.Originally posted by wager1Question to any of you that play at 5dimes. My limits were cut down from 20% of normal limits to 10% of normal limits yesterday so be thankful for what you have.
If you continue to win, your limits will be reduced shortly.
It doesn't matter what you bet or how you bet it, if you make money at 5 Dimes, your limits will be cut drastically.Comment -

That sucks. I guess its good in the aspect that it means youve obviously been winning alot, but at the same point if youve been limited so much why even stay at that book now?Comment -

#17You can always switch the bonus you are on. By default you are on bonus 1 which gives you the option to play at reduced juice. You may want to look at moving over to bonus 4
4) 30% Super Saver Reward
Receive -107 style pricing plus expanded parlay payouts with this promotional offer.
With this you can get the game and bet the higher amount at a 30% reduced juice. Good for any game you want to play. The payout structure for parlays is also a little higher.Comment -

#19The only reason why I am still with the book is they allow you to re-bet a game either when the line changes or resets.Originally posted by wager1That sucks. However, after this latest limit cut down to 10%, I'm waiting for all of my pending wagers to be graded and then I'll cash out my account. I can still bet $500 on regular pre-game action (since the regular limit @ 5 Dimes is $5,000). However, the most I can bet on any prop is $10 and my maximum allowed betting limit on long-shot props is now $1, LOL.
5Dimes is pretty much useless to me now.
Here's hoping you win a ton from them.Comment -

#20Wow those limits are ridiculous. How much would you say youve won from them in total, to have these crazy limit restrictions? 10,000 or 100,000, or more?Originally posted by andywendThe only reason why I am still with the book is they allow you to re-bet a game either when the line changes or resets.
