Whats your thoughts on your employer holding up potential bailout packages from books because of requesting commissions on the deal?

Until I hear that from an Admin myself, I'm reserving judgement. I've seen people in this thread swear up and down "Ryan" was the good guy and now they're condemning him to death. I've also seen figures that were way off when a poster stated he knew with certainty how much in deposits BI was taking in each week. I've been guilty before - one case in particular 2 years ago - of jumping on a sportsbook before I had actual facts. I get passionate about these issues whether they're about $5 or $5 million and whether SBR's involved or not, because this 'hobby' actually provided the bulk of my income for quite awhile a few years back. I was desperate for it instead of depleting my savings and by fluke it all worked out. And after the Aussie book going down it frightens me even moreso when any book closes because I know I'm always one degree away from losing a balance myself. Just by total chance I haven't. But I've also seen a lot of bs on these forums...even back when people were trying to extort BI for freeplays ie "I'll make a thread if you don't do this". And then they'd get their freeplay and sing BI's praises all over the forum. It was part of the reason I suggested one big thread. So the guys who actually had a clue would be able to moderate out the out there theories that just tend to turn off those not involved. So I don't trust much of anything to be honest unless I see facts and then I'll form an opinion. I do trust John however when he said on Xmas day "We will not have any financial involvement in any future deal assuming one materializes" and "If a deal does go down those that have an account at the acquiring book will get the same deal as everyone" ie just because you're already at xx book, you're not going to get looked/fukked over. I trust him. You may not but I do. And I may be proven wrong but I'm willing to stand by this belief. That's the best I can say and probably all I *should* say as someone looking in who didn't lose money there.

I agree there has been a lot of questionable stuff posted but wtt and dwayne both have seemed very credible and not far fetched in what they both have been posting on the situation...... i tend to believe those 2 have not been making stories up and have credible contacts it seems

Oh no, sorry blackbox. My contact was about immigration stuff. Nothing to do with BI. If I had a clue who to contact about BI who would be of any help I'd be the first one to start bitching and get all my mommy friends (and pretend their gamblers) to do the same on every social media outlet possible. I just don't know of anyone to contact. Despite what some have insinuated because I work here, have a vagina, etc... I first came to SBR almost 4yrs ago because I gamble. Used to bet quite large sums of money although now it's only like $200 a bet (although after having a kid, that's now huge to me these days). A book went down here in Australia last year... totally regulated country... like many felt as safe having their money there as a bank. I wouldn't wish any of this on anyone. I wish I could fix it but the suggestions I've seen like Let's go get Jon from BI (he doesn't have the cash), a book will bail us out (yes hopefully but it's a big ask), etc just take time I guess. I truly hope every single person gets every cent no matter where it comes from. Too hard to win from books as it is... even though this book ran like the short bus of all books, it's not anyone's fault but theirs. Time for SSLP to fix it. (Again in my useless opinion).

I would hold off on immigrating to Costa Rica...the way SBR is going lately the employees will be selling tortillas at a roadside stand by the end of the year

I'm not doubting either of those guys at all... whether their info is legit or whether they were told it was legit at the time... neither of them really come across to me as guys who just troll for attention. Of course you never really know but I don't think so. I've just seen so much mumbo jumbo trying to keep up with it all as an outsider... I can only imagine how much worse it is for those who get excited/disparaged by a post only to feel totally different after another... it'd be like a crappy roller coaster of emotions but unfortunately no one's built an online lie detector yet. If I didn't gamble myself, I wouldn't even be in these threads. It's not like I can help anyone out and usually I'm just the target for whatever people want to direct at SBR... but I'm willing to take the 2nd part solely because I'd be flipping out too if I lost cash at a book. I just truly hope it all gets sorted out somehow. Not some crappy $200 per account deal like those here in Australia were offered although I guess some would welcome at least that... but I really hope everyone get's back their balances somehow. The one thing I don't have faith in is CR sense of time. That's why I made the comment middle/end of month. That's just my being cynical about how slow things seem to move there so again, ignore that too.

Well if I were them I would try everything I possibly could to help the players recover and I would be communicating that to them..... like something along the lines of "hey guys this is a really bad situation for all of us but we are going to try are very best to make things right at all costs"

Thats just me tho I have a good heart and really would go out at all costs for people that helped me get to where I am .... I realize greedy people dont think like this tho
