sbr - negotiate a Bet Islands bailout now
Do it to restore your reputation. Do it to limit the ineivtable blowback that will continue to be directed at sbr and jon which could turn ugly. Do it to help this dying industry and most of all do it because no one deserves to have their money stolen. Other books need to figure out a bailout and i dont understand why the industry as a whole hasnt grasped how bet islands stealing money will crush the confidence of anyone who plays offshore. If i cant trust a highly rated book completely backed and vouched for by sbr the industry watchdog than as a player how can i trust any sportsbook in the future. Sbr. Please help us.

Seems obvious alot of the current folks are not aware of the Cascade fiasco. You might do a search and read some of that to understand better how this is going to turn out. It hurts as we all know.

Well, I am not laughing. I am out a lot of money, and may stop betting off-shore. Maybe I should start another thread asking how many others feel the same. SBR has lost all credibility, which means there is no watchdog. Why bother to play off-shore if there is no protection?

If he can't fix the mess he's created maybe SBR John should take a page out of the Shrink's book.

The watchdog was dead a long time ago, BranchD, but now SBR is an active player in the corrupt system. It rubbed off on them. Whatever we say here is not going to change that. They already betrayed everybody. If anything, they'll get in deeper.

if they dont negotiate some kind of bailout, it will be difficult for them to have any credibility as a watchdog site in the future.
