No, because no matter what you're betting for the second half, any intelligent person would get out of the original bet. They then have the option of betting the same amount (or more) on OKC +5.5 for the game, or staying away.

Maybe i am missing something but if you bet $500 on the 1st Half and got your cash back wouldn't you have at least that $500 to bet on the 2nd Half ?I'm not sure how he thought you had no cash on 2nd Half if you got your $500 back.And turns out it was the right move anyway congrats on your win.

I cashed a $500 winner on Miami yesterday--basically a no-brainer to keep my bet with the Heat up by 6 at HT. For those that bet OKC, it was equally a no-brainer to dump the bet. Shocked that someone can't comprehend the concept--wish I was their bookie!

This is one of the dumbest things I've read on this site. The guy had +2.5, when the current halftime line was +5.5. WHY would he keep the bet when he could put the entire amount (plus more if wanted) on +5.5? Am I missing something? Cause if not, you have no clue what you are talking about.
