Bwin poor communication costly to players
bwin (SBR rating C) poor communication costly to players

SBR routinely receives complaints from bwin players who have had their winnings or bonus confiscated and account closed without explanation. In most cases, bwin has taken just action against fraudulent players. In rare cases when the decision is questionable or the player has a valid wagering dispute, the bettor requires assistance escalating the matter to management.

On November 16, a player bet on a halftime line of Gary Mawson (USA) - Kirk Shepherd (ENG) (2Way - Who will win?) Gary Mawson (USA) when Mawson was up 4-0, at odds of 1.1. Bwin canceled the bet without explanation after the event was finished. When SBR first contacted bwin, it stated that the wager was late after the line was supposed to be off the board. The player insisted that his wager was not past-posted and asked for proof. Bwin then admitted the wager was mistakenly canceled. SBR has advised bwin to open discussion with all players and allow each to respond to allegations of fraud, or change to a more manageable bonus program.

Since I stop playing "late bets" or "obvious typing mistakes" at bwin,
they never void any of my bets in the last 18 month. (which they like to do previously)

Maybe this could also have something to do with the good work of SBR and the good contact SBR Justin has with them.

Justin works really hard on each of the claims even though the majority is fraud. We have become a filter for bwin bringing the questionable calls back to mgt. But, players who aren't aware SBR can help might end up losing out in rare instances.

I can not receive my outpayment from BWIN almost 8 days.
I didn't receive any explain - why it is so long.
Have you situations like this ?

If you can still log into your account, it's just a "normal" payout delay. If your account is frozen, it's something worse.

I also just had a bad experience with them: I placed a bet on 'Lille - Lorient under 2,5 goals' (french soccer), odds were 1.95. Today I see the bet is cancelled. I wonder if it is justified because for example also today 188Bet still has odds of 1.84? Anyway what me disturbs even more than the cancellation of the bet is that Bwin never notifies players in case they cancel a bet. I just saw it by accident because I wanted to place another bet and verified in my account if it was accepted.

                kiwi,

                Did you contact them?

I agree, it's bullsh*t to cancel with no warning. This is a large contributor to their recent downgrade.

Yes, I asked why they cancelled the bet and why they didn't notice me. They answered they had entered wrong odds. Maybe it is true, maybe not. The odds are not so strange - maybe actually before the game starts the odds will be the same again anyway. ;-)

They didn't answer why they didn't notice me. I wrote again and asked if in future they may notice their customers at least if it happens again, but they didn't reply so far (I guess they won't reply at all).

I spoke with Bwin management. They are taking steps to better notify players of bet cancellations.

Please keep telling us of these type problems.

Now Pinnacle has odds of 1.87 for the same game but bwin cancelled my bet with odds of 1.95 - rather doubtful in my opinion. I don't intend to make a complaint because it is really not worth it, I just want to inform the public about this behaviour.
