    Bovada bad customer service...
Currently on hold with Bovada this morning. Deposited $140 with money transfer and then called to have my Casino disabled as recommended by many on this forum. Got a message that my whole account was disabled... NOT just casino. Called back and they reactivated my account and now they are telling me they cannot turn off JUST casino use..... Thanks Bovada.

i think turning off casino is a good idea in case of hacking. several cases here of people who had accounts hacked by people who dumped it all in the casino making ridiculous moves like hitting on 20 in blackjack

I and multiple friends have been with Bovada/Bodog for a good decade. I and at least one of my friends have not changed our passwords since we signed up. In fact, my password is very simple and not at all secure. We have had no issues whatsoever in terms of hacking.

To the OP, if you need to have your casino disabled, I would worry less about customer service and more about yourself. There are people here that can help, and there are programs out there to help you.

thats like telling someone who says wear a seatbelt that "i've been driving for ten years and never got into an accident, so i dont need to wear my seatbelt." using an insecure password isnt something to brag about

            WTF

How is it anybody's fault but your own that you have no self control and can't avoid playing in the casino? Also the casino is the best part of Bovada.
What would a hacker gain from logging into your account and losing in the casino. If you are scared of hackers disable poker not casino. And for $140 deposit as long as you use reasonable precautions I wouldn't sweat losing your money to a hacker.

some people like to cause trouble just to cause trouble. others do so for affiliate reasons, or rogue employees of the book screwing around. there have been plenty of cases where a person obviously had their account hacked. not cases like "i got drunk and lost 7k in the casino, it must have been a hacker," these were ridiculous plays no one would make, like hitting 20 in blackjack
