the reason why I am asking this is because I called them earlier today and music they played while I was put on hold is exact same music with exact same message as EZ street sports.... what's going on?
betislands, are they same company with EZ street now??

#8It seems that way.. Both place needing to use cap for password and both place using same music when they put customers on hold... So I guess recent threads about BetIslands financial situation was right and they merge with ez??? That's just my assumption until Jon comes in here to explain to us.Comment -

#9We are still getting updates from BI on this. Yes, they are on their wagering platform now. That's why you are seeing earlier lines and overnights. Here is what else we know so far...
BetIslands is running 7redsports now and took over their office space in the EZ building.
BetIslands told us they don't want to be associated with a debt and will be paying Corey his casino winnings. We'll hopefully be updating on his payments soon.Comment -

#17Hi guys,
Hope all is well as confirmed by SBR , we saw an opportunity to grab a small book and an opportunity to utilize wagering service thats providing the things you guys have always asked for : earlier lines , overnight lines on all mayor sports , better racebook amongst other things.
This is actually a positive step for us with an attempt to expand , our payouts have continued to go out on time like they always have , we have expanded our facilites and a new website + new betting engine is coming out in the next few days.
These forums are here to inform players , and this is what I have always tried to do although it seems that some people get alarmed about certain situations when there is no real reason to be alarmed about.
I have always stated be alarmed when clients are not getting paid ( we have never had a single complaint out there ), not because we are trying to expand or we had a few technical hi cups on the way there.
Cheers

#21Corey with EasyStreet was a case of not paying winnings. He lucks out with BI being involved. I think it's good for EasyStreet too since Corey was their only issue in the past few years.

#22Jon, so since 7redsports and betisalnds is same company now, are we allowed to have both accounts?? I opened 7reds long time ago and never really used them. And like someone asked, 7redsports will have same payout system as betislands?? and also, is this means you guys will have book to book transfer from betislands to 7reds and vice versa?? this will be huge because we will be able to get 2 payouts/wk instead of one. one from betislands and one from 7reds... Please update us some more info Jon!Comment -

#23The book shouldn't knowingly profit from these situations but players who commit fraud put themselves in potentially no-win situation if they are caught. To win is to not get caught. I think in the Heritage case, after the player got all his losses back the difference between what he won and what he was refunded wasn't all that much.Comment -

#25so bill, what do you think about my situation with 5dimes?? I just found out that I was never supposed to make a deposit with any kinds of card... my account supposed to be cash only deposit and of course I didn't know about this. Went out purchased the card and deposit about $700 or 800 into my 5dimes account in about week and half period. I had issue with my payout and talk to cc dept manager and she said deposit I made recently will be accepted(of course because I lost all the money) but from now on, no more card deposits. and she said she deosn't understand why they accepted in first place because my account is set up for cash only since back in 2010.Comment -

Bill,
Will Pinnacle sports be stealing the winnings of all US based accounts who were committing fraud? or will they do what an honest bookmaker would do and pay the accounts and take steps to prevent it from happening again in the future?
Do you feel that Pinnacle would be justified in resetting the balances of all of the players who were found to have been playing from the US?Comment -

#28So if a book knows that a player were controlling multiple accounts and accepted his deposits anyway in hopes he would lose, but then when the player got lucky and won on a deposit, your decision would be that the book should void all action and refund deposits instead of paying the player the winnings in order to keep the book from being able to free roll the player??? Is this correct???Comment -

#29Agreed. Just curious though, hypothetically, what would your opinion be in the player had proof that the book knew he was controlling multiple accounts all along and was letting him deposit until he won?Comment -

IMO you should trust BI even more because of this purchase. Think about it, if BI is willing to pay a known scamster his 46k in disputed winnings, then odds are greatly enhanced that a honest joe like you is going to collect too--and quickly. This is actually a good thing. Hat's off to Jon and BI.Comment -
