Stan James stealing cash from Skrill withdrawals
Just to let you know Stan James have changed their policies regarding skrill deposits/withdrawals.

All new customers that use Skrill/ MoneyBookers to deposit funds into an account will be automatically restricted from placing sports bets. No such restrictions apply to Casino, Games and Poker products.

By using Skrill/ MoneyBookers to deposit funds into your account, you agree that you will wager the entire value of the deposit on Stan James’ products. In the event that you choose to withdraw funds before having wagered the entire value of the deposit( due to pathetic bet limits), Stan James may recover from your account balance the cost incurred by Stan James of processing your deposits and withdrawals.

This term is hidden in the deposit/withdrawal terms but IS NOT displayed on the deposit/withdrawal page. No warning is given when withdrawing. They don't email you to give you the option of cancelling the withdrawal and turning the deposit over in the sportsbook. They simply send the cash minus 3% they've already deducted.

This is a relatively new term and applies no matter how old your SJ account is even though they have not informed by email of the term change. Live chat believe you are at fault for not checking the terms( why would you if you didnt know there had been a change?). On new accounts they don't allow you to bet in sportsbook at all if you have deposited with skrill...

Just to let you all know so no one falls into the same trap...

You are completely right, it is a pure trap.Stan James is primarily associated with sports betting, and you logically expect to be able to place bets.

    Thank you for sharing.

Lol never mind I found it. That is ridiculous. Have to click Rule Book, then there's a link to another page on deposit and withdrawals and have to click that to access the term which requires scroll and is just above midway to the middle of that page.

Yes obviously you should have been aware

Sorry, this wasn't too clear.. You're saying that if you deposit with Skrill, you're not allowed to place sportsbets ever? Or just that you have to roll it over (with sports bets or other) before withdrawing to avoid a penalty?

According to their buried rules, which take multiple clicks and multiple scrolls to decipher: when deposit with Skrill you're not allowed to bet sports. Need to roll it over with one of the other methods.

pathetic. they should be ashamed of themselves. an honest shop will email every customer letting him know about the changes.

This is sit is so brutal. I registered an account here because they had great prices during Euro 2012, but they rejected most all of my bets. I think I got off with maybe $500 tops due to super tiny limits before cashing out (seriously from day 1 the limits were like $200 max). So just now I see 12/1 on Baltimore winning World Series. I'm expecting I can't get much on it so just deposit $50 figuring if it takes it I'll deposit again. So lame my max bet is $1.30. So I'm like ugh this is annoying I try to just bet it on a baseball side. Freak $1.30 max bet again. So I keep trying, my max on everything is $1.30. And of course I can't even cash out. So now I have to make 39 wagers to rollover my freaking $50 deposit LOL.

So I can't bet sports at all? Or I just have to pay to cashout (or rollover the deposit in the casino)?

                    What can i say?
You are ok to bet only if you are losing , they just hate successful players
Black or red they must win! That sucks!

                      In relation to this...

Some while ago I received a message from skrill VIP outlining changes to their payments in relation to sportsbooks.

To be frank it was tl;dr and I even tried to read it but stopped because I have to re-read each line to grasp it.

Can anyone help me out because I need to deposit to Pinny now and I'm wondering if/how my deposit will be manipulated/handled.

                      Thank-you in advance.
