Brent, the Head Lines Manager at BetDSI, does his weekly call with SBR's Peter Loshak discussing the betting action for the upcoming weekend of football.

There were some lines moves in college spurred by sharp action, and others by public action, as well as a marquee game where sharps took positions on both sides.

The public once again has strongly preferred NFL sides, and the sharps have spoken on a handful of NFL lines as well.

Brent also touches on the Monday Night Football replacement referee fiasco from last week.

This Week Baylor +12.5. I thought you would ask him about this game, as I know WVU is a huge public side. I capped this game @WVU -7 using yards per play, and yards per point equations. Its fairly out dated, but I lack advanced math skills so it will have to do.

Yeah I really shouldve asked about that WVU game......especially since I personally pounded it........damn, missed that one, I try to get to as many as I can, I wish I had gotten to that one though

whats not plausible about what he said about that one? a 7.5-point dog is often something sharp guys are attracted to, and a 7.5 point fave is often something public guys are attracted to

i know the saints are normally a team the public also likes to back, but so are the packers

the only thing that does strike me as "dubious" is the louisville/southern miss game, but what, you think he decided to pick a random game like that out of nowhere and give opposite info???

I mean he's only talking about his action, which is likely to be skewed once in a while, and he doesnt profit or get hurt directly by anything he says in these vids anyway

i know, very hard to believe, but if he says it i trust that it's true for DSI at that time, at least, if not for the market as a whole by kickoff

Good point, nothing to be gained by giving any "false" information here, makes no sense, zero motivation to do that. Its good quality, entertaining content and someone wants to complain about it? And, as mentioned, the action is what 'they' are getting, it can differ from book-to-book on occassion.

Green Bay screams "public" side as they got screwed last week, now are at home, and New Orleans has been a complete mess and lost to the Chiefs last week. Are you serious? Saints had the Brees contract mess, the bounty mess, are missing their coach and are 0-3 . . . Joe Public ain't gonna back that side.

Louisville-So Miss HE TOLD you the line could go up to Louisville -10.5 and right now it is -10.5 everywhere. Eagles line moved up too - this information is dead on.

Looks like sharps may have eventually come in on Arkansas (?) to take the line back down on game day, may regret that as they still look lifeless, needing Arkansas doesn't sound like an envious position for the book.

yeah someone drive the line down, a little hard to believe it was the public suddenly deciding they liked arkansas all of a sudden, but normally Brent says the sharps nail a line once it hits a key number, and the fact that they appeared not to on this one at 14 and then 14.5 was very odd to hear

marshall was a nail biter. 3 turnover by end of 1Q and still managed to cover somehow.
