A DSI Freeplay Issue (Waiting for Response)
Please wait for a site operator to respond. You are now chatting with 'Rachel'
Rachel: Welcome to our Live Chat Department, my name is Rachel. How may I be of assistance?
XX------: I received a freeplay of $50 last week, which I placed on CHI/GB under total. The bet had won, but then was cancelled due to the superbet promo. Can I please receive at least some compensation for the bet that won?
Rachel: For security reasons, will you please confirm your password?
    XX------: ?#$%^&
Rachel: Thank you! I appreciate it…
Rachel: Are you able to hold while I check on that for you?
    XX------: yes
Rachel: Thank you very much for waiting!
Rachel: I was informed that you need to send and email to freeplay@betdsi.com
    Rachel: and state your issue...
    XX------: Why is that?
Rachel: The department in charge is going to answer your email...
Rachel: And the email address for that department is the one I just provided...
    XX------: ok
Rachel: May I assist you with anything else?
    XX------:not at present ty

*I then sent the following email to freeplay@betdsi.com:

I received a $50 freeplay before the Bears/Packers game over a week ago. I placed the bet on CHI/GB under the total, and the bet had won. Later that night I checked my account and saw the bet was cancelled and placed on the superbet promo. There was no early notice to me that this was what the freeplay was for before I placed the bet. May I please receive compensation for the bet that won? I believe my request to be fair and just.

*I placed my 'superbet' via email on August 10th, then sent it again by request from DSI on August 12th. The freeplay was received the afternoon of September 13th, before the CHI/GB game. I work nights, therefore had not checked my account until morning. Upon logging in, I receive the following pop-up:

FP BETS WERE DELETED..IT WAS FOR THE SUPERBET PROMOTION AFC-NFC ONLY

*Once again, this was NOT notified to me before I placed the wager on the under of CHI/GB game, and the bet was still pending during the game. I am awaiting response from DSI on the matter, and will follow-up on their response either way.

If this freeplay was given as a special to players, and intended to not be placed on anything except X, then I don't think you have an argument. But, that's just going based on what you laid out in the post.

Let us know what dsi says and we'd be happy to follow-up for clarification if you are not satisfied with the response.

It gave me the option to place it on any game. Hell, I thought they were being generous.

It shows that the freeplay was added on 9/13 @ 10:12am under the heading: Superbet Free Superbowl Wager, Restrictions apply, 5X RO $50
(this did not show up until following morning when I checked my history and saw the bet was cxld).
My point is that I was allowed to post a play on the under 51 for that game, the result was a win, then taken down after the fact. Why should it take 33 days for placement of a promo bet by an A+ sportsbook? DSI could easily have automatically applied this without showing a $50 freeplay credit to my account, therefore would not have even had the option to place a FP bet in the first place. I think that's a valid argument, indeed.

*3 hours after first contact, I tried my 1st follow-up:

Please wait for a site operator to respond. You are now chatting with 'Zoe'
Zoe: Welcome to our Live Chat Department, my name is Zoe. How may I be of assistance?
XX------: Hello. Is Rachel still available?
Zoe: For security reasons, will you please confirm your password?
            XX------: %^&*(#
            Zoe: Than you Mr ******
Zoe: Rachel has finished her shift for today, but I would be more than glad to assist you...
XX------: OK. This was from earlier: I received a freeplay of $50 last week, which I placed on CHI/GB under total. The bet had won, but then was cancelled due to the superbet promo. Can I please receive at least some compensation for the bet that won? Rachel had told me to email freeplay@betdsi.com, which I did @ 5:59 pm EST, and have not received any reply.
Zoe: I see, allow me to explain you that the people in charge of that email address and fixing this kind of inconveniences work From Monday to Friday ( 18:00 )
Zoe: It means that your email will be replied after this coming Monday!
XX------: Is there anything you can do?
            Zoe: We need to wait...
Zoe: May I assist you with anything else?
XX------: I reckon not. I think I may be wasting my time, but I'll wait until Monday for confirmation.

And so I wait.......will follow-up Monday with their verdict.

they did the same thing with my account

put the $50 in as FP money and placed the bet later that day on the team that i had picked.

it didn't make much sense to do it that way.

would have made more sense to just enter the play when crediting the money.

but i also understood what it might be for so i didn't bet it like i'm sure some here did.

you can't throw a $50 FP into most people's account and not expect them to use instantly around here.

              lol

That promotion was for superbowl. You had to pick NFC or AFC.Risking 0 to win $43.48.

                  Thanks to BetDSI Relations:

I will give you a choice on this. You can take the Bears/Packers play and it will be combined with your total start up bonus package carrying the 10x (deposit + bonus) roll, or you can keep the $50 freeplay applied to your Super Bowl wager which carries a simple separate 3x rollover once it grades. Let me know how you would like to proceed.

                  Cheers,

                  BDR

I will choose the 3x rollover freeplay. I appreciate your help.

No problem. Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Is this company a big company ?

The fact they ask for your password as the security question is very disturbing.

I do not like that either, but some other books do the same thing.

Is why I have always refused to use most of SBR's highly ranked books, which all require this.

Zero account security and occasional stories of clerks getting up to no good ...
