have never understood what's so hard to figure out about the draw concept. not that complicated really, you get a point if you draw. have seen dozens of these "they aren't playing to win dammit" type of posts. they aren't playing to win because they're not as good. it's like the bubble in poker, where you just try to stay in until the money.

Because you seem like you have a brain cell ill reply, yes England were lucky to even stay in the game. We did no way deserve to go to the semis. I was no happy with the way England played all game, i thought we was going to stick with the more possession game like what Italy did, they played us at our own game and there poor finishing made it go to pens. England did play well neither did Italy though. England are a defensive team that's just what we do, i have this conversation all the time with people who don't understand how defensive teams play.

In the context of this thread, there is no draw. You win and go on or you lose and you're out. So your point is moot. Not that complicated, really.
