In their first away game of the Apertura against America Monterrey were unlucky to not leave with a point as Sambueza scored a winner in last minute of the game. Star striker Humberto Suazo could make his eagerly awaited return tonight and with him in the team Monterrey should have enough quality to get at least a draw out of this game.

Tempted to add more to this play after seeing news below, but going to stick with current moderate stake as Di Natale hasnt trained this week due to illness so both teams could have key players missing...

The Juventus midfield could be decimated for Saturday night’s game withUdinese, as Claudio Marchisio, Andrea Pirlo and Arturo Vidal are all in doubt.
Marchisio has already missed last week’s 1-1 draw with Parma due to a heavily bruised knee and is working to a personalised training schedule.
Today Pirlo and Vidal did not take part in training with their teammates.
Veteran Pirlo has been suffering from a right calf problem, while the Chilean has bruised his right ankle.
Fabio Quagliarella is also a concern, as the tendon of the left thigh muscle is inflamed.

Hannover +1 Asian Handicap @ -127 away at Schalke.


Schalke without two important attacking players in Huntelaar (17 apps, 5 goals, 2 assists) and Affelay (10 apps, 2 goals). Centre-mid Jermaine Jones (14 apps, 1 goal, 3 assists) is also unavailable. Schalke ended the year in poor form losing 4 and drawing 3 of their final 7 games in the Budesliga. It does seem that the Champions League has been a bit of a distraction and effected their league form. Consequently they have appointed a new manager in Jens Keller which seems to be more of a short-term thing as he doesnt have any experience or elite credentials. Perhaps this will revitalise Schalke and they will go and win comfortably tonight, but I think Hannover can cause Schalke some problems with their attacking play and if lucky scrape a draw out of this.

hahhaa holy shiiiiiit fellas tht was ridiculous! Was just writing how depressed I was after Schalke scored tht 5th goal as I'd finally managed to play the Over 7.5,8 and also Hannover +0.25 live in play so was about to lose the original +1 A.H. play, lose the Hannover +0.25 and only make half from teh Over 7.5,8! Then suddenly Diouf scores an amazing over-head kick with last kick of the game to make it 5-4 so the +1 went from loss to push, the Hannover +0.25 went from loss to half profit, and the Over 7.5,8 went from half profit to full profit!! Crazy scenes!

So ended up with almost £170 profit but would of been -£300 if not for Diouf!...

West Ham historically do not do well at Old Trafford. Man U have won their last 5 home games against West Ham and won 12 out of last 13 at home against the Hammers. Man Utd have players back from injury like Rooney and Nani so they may start or at least feature. West Ham are without Maiga and Collins (who scored both goals from headers in first game). At the back West Ham look very average with Demel, Potts, Tompkins and Reid as back line. And Carlton Cole as lone striker is hardly intimidating (watch him go and score a 30 yard screamer now)!

Scunthorpe meanwhile are at home to a Portsmouth team that only have 13 first team players available at moment. In addition to losing best striker and top scorer Mcleod a few weeks ago who had scored 10 out of Portsmouth's total 29 goals, they have now released a further 6 players due to financial issues. These include the two main central-midfielders in Captain Brian Howard (23 apps) and Lee Williamson (22 apps), and also defenders Michalik (18 apps, 1 goal), Dumbuya (24 apps), and Jon Harley (23 apps, 1 goal) have left. Striker Paul Benson (7 apps, 2 goals) has also returned back to Swindon after his loan spell ended, and Luke Rodgers (10 apps, 2 goals) has left for Shrewsbury. It's a shame that one of the better teams aren't playing Portsmouth at this time as Scunthorpe aren't a team that fill me with much confidence even against a decimated Portsmouth. They've only won 1 game at home this season which was against Colchester who are in 21st place in league (they also beat Colchester away from home last wknd 2-1). Scunthorpe lost top scorer Leon Clarke to Coventry as well, however they do have Kawl Hawley who always has potential to score goals, and they have signed Sodje from Preston who can cause defences problems. I may add more to Scunthorpe with a live bet during the game if they are dominating it. May also add -1 A.H. before Saturday.

yeah but it was particularly slow this time, like would just freeze for 30 seconds then obviously by then the line had changed slightly again so then have to refresh or click "update odds" and try again. At the time I was getting messages from them about games that had been cancelled due to weather and voided bets so not sure if that slowed it down or something. But yeah Bet365 was great...still the most user-friendly and best interface out of any site I think, but unfortunately limited to pennies on there now so Pinnacle is pretty much my only live option

I cant play Newcastle at moment...team is still in disarray after the Ba departure and still missing key players as far as Im aware.
Malaga should win, I've got them in a couple parlay but took the PK to be extra cautious as they have had two tough games against Barca in last 5 days. But Celta are the worst away team in the league and Malaga are solid at home so should in theory get a comfortable 2-0 win or something. Leverkusen and Frankfurt are teams I dont like betting on, Frankfurt are very inconsistent. I'd prefer to bet on the Over 3 in tht game probably.

yeah live betting as been bitter-sweet for me. Made a lot of money then lost a lot money on doing it! Currently going through a faze of making a bit of money and getting some luck with late goals!

Ha ha yeah, if I could keep my stakes low after some big wins I would ride out the rough patches no bother. Instead I increase all my bets and then end up back at square one after a few losses.

Maybe stupid seeing as S.Africa are the hosts but I've added plays on Cape Verde +1 A.H. @ -154, and Cape Verde Over 0.5 goals @ Evens.

I think S.Africa are being slightly over-rated and all the pressure is on them being the host nation. They lost in a friendly earlier in week against Norway's second team. Cape Verde have some players that many people won't know but who are actually reasonably good such as Heldon (Maritimo), Mendes (Lille), Djaniny (Olhanense), Babanco (Olhanense), David Silva (Olhanense), Julio Tavares (Dijon), and Fernando Varela (Vaslui). WOuldnt be surprised if they scrape a 1-1 draw out of this.

Wolfsburg have been shocking at home this season with just 1 win but I think they can get their second today. Wolfsburg have a new coach and new motivation and that was demonstrated in the friendlies they played where they beat likes of Besiktas, Standard, & Hertha Berlin. More pertinently, Stuttgart are missing some players including key striker Ibisevic who is their top scorer with 10 goals in 15 games this season (50% of total goals scored by Stuttgart). Defenders Boka (12 apps), and Sakai (14 apps) are also not available, while Kvist (13 apps), Torun (6 apps), and Audel (0 apps) are doubts, and striker Cacau (5 apps, 1 goal) is a long term casualty. This means there is a lot of reliance on Harnik (16 apps, 4 goals), & Okazaki (10 apps, 1 goal) to score their goals.
