It's so damn nice with all that action on your site. I NEVER watch any live streams at my bookie. I just go to Vaughanys thread and read his posts. Oooooh what a miss. Fuuuuuck penetrate it. Etc. etc. It's much more entertaining.

Just a small play on Levadiakos ML @ -162 for today so far. Looks like I got a decent line as there has been considerable action on them since and is now at -200 to -250 range.

I should have countered it with a reverse jinx of my own. "Nah there's no way it'll end 1-1...guaranteed winner here."
Live and learn!

My most confident play this wknd is Dusseldorf PK at home to Augsburg. First game back from break though and Augsburg are desperate for points so probably shouldnt be as big on it as I am!

Bundesliga play:
May be completely out on this but can't help but think this is a great line...moderate on Fortuna Dusseldorf PK @ -144 at home to Augsburg.
Dusseldorf sit in 13th place in the league with 21pts, whilst Augsburg are second from bottom with just 9 pts in total. Dusseldorf have won 3, drawn 2, and lost 2 games at home, with one of those losses coming to runaway leaders Bayern Munich which is not surprising (best away record in league), and the other was to Wolfsburg who despite being below Dusseldorf in 15th place actually have the joint fourth best away record with 4 wins, 1 draw, 4 losses. Those two high-scoring losses actually amounted to 9 out of the total 13 goals that Dusseldorf have conceded in 13 home league games. Before the Xmas break Dusseldorf won 3 home games in a row beating Hamburg 2-0, Frankfurt 4-0, and Hannover 2-1, three very impressive results. They have only lost 2 home games (the aforementioned ones) so far this season out of 11 played, and before the 5-0 Bayern loss they hadn't lost a home game since December 2011 which ended up being their only home loss of last season in Bundesliga 2. In contrast to Dusseldorf's solid home form, Augsburg have a very poor away record (worst in the league) being the only team without an away win so far with their only points coming from 3 draws. They have also scored the least goals away from home with just 5. Furthermore, although Dusseldorf have only won 2 games away from home this season, one of those wins came against Augsburg when they won 2-0 in August. So all in all everything seems to point to a Dusseldorf home win, or draw if Augsburg are lucky.

Push. Belenenses dominating possession but offering nothing in final third. Just committing fouls everytime ball gets in to the box. They've come back from being behind in last three games so wouldnt be surprised if they do it again in second half but not confident enough to back them.

Adkins axed as Saints boss
Published: 18 minutes ago
SOUTHAMPTON have sacked Nigel Adkins — and appointed Mauricio Pochettino as their new manager.
Adkins, 47, secured back-to-back promotions with Saints since taking over in 2010, leading the club from League One to the Premier League.
Southampton lie 15th in table, three points above the relegation zone.
Pochettino is the former manager for Spanish side Espanyol and left the Catalan club in September last year after three seasons.
The Argentine said: “This is the kind of opportunity that any coach would relish.
"Southampton is a club with great heritage and an even more exciting future.
"There is a clear vision to take the club to a new era of sustained success in the Premier League, and beyond, which I’m delighted to be part of.”
Southampton executive chairman Nicola Cortese said: “This decision has been made with the long-term ambitions of Southampton Football Club in mind.
"Whilst we acknowledge the contribution Nigel has made during the past two years, for the Club to progress and achieve our long-term targets a change was needed.
“Mauricio is a well-respected coach of substantial quality who has gained a reputation as an astute tactician and excellent man manager.
"I have every confidence that he will inspire our talented squad of players to perform at the highest possible level.
“He also shares my belief that the most successful clubs are built by nurturing young players through a development system that provides a clear path to the first team, thereby creating a culture that keeps them at the club for the long term.
"This is an approach he has employed with great success in the past and I look forward to him bringing that experience and expertise to Southampton.”
Hannover +1 Asian Handicap @ -127 away at Schalke.
Schalke without two important attacking players in Huntelaar (17 apps, 5 goals, 2 assists) and Affelay (10 apps, 2 goals). Centre-mid Jermaine Jones (14 apps, 1 goal, 3 assists) is also unavailable. Schalke ended the year in poor form losing 4 and drawing 3 of their final 7 games in the Budesliga. It does seem that the Champions League has been a bit of a distraction and effected their league form. Consequently they have appointed a new manager in Jens Keller which seems to be more of a short-term thing as he doesnt have any experience or elite credentials. Perhaps this will revitalise Schalke and they will go and win comfortably tonight, but I think Hannover can cause Schalke some problems with their attacking play and if lucky scrape a draw out of this.
Potential line-ups:
FC Schalke 04: Hildebrand - C. Fuchs, Höwedes, Matip, Uchida - Neustädter, Höger - Draxler, Holtby, Farfan - Pukki
yeah could be a big problem, be interesting to see how players respond. I could imagine Pochettino going and dropping some of the British players who perhaps dont suit his style such as Puncheon, and Lambert and it leading to disaster! I was gonna play Everton PK this weekend after reading this but Everton PK is already at -210 which is too steep for me. Was hoping to get -175 to -190 range.

Reminds me of Blackburn and the sacking of Big Sam. Except Pochettino does not speak English and there are no chicken farmers involved.

Udinese +2 A.H. @ -220 away at Juventus.
Tempted to add more to this play after seeing news below, but going to stick with current moderate stake as Di Natale hasnt trained this week due to illness so both teams could have key players missing...
The Juventus midfield could be decimated for Saturday night’s game withUdinese, as Claudio Marchisio, Andrea Pirlo and Arturo Vidal are all in doubt. Marchisio has already missed last week’s 1-1 draw with Parma due to a heavily bruised knee and is working to a personalised training schedule. Today Pirlo and Vidal did not take part in training with their teammates. Veteran Pirlo has been suffering from a right calf problem, while the Chilean has bruised his right ankle. Fabio Quagliarella is also a concern, as the tendon of the left thigh muscle is inflamed.
