#4204Parlay results for weekend:
Originally posted by VaughanyParlay (treble): Velez PK (-350), Man Utd PK (-450), & Heerenveen ML (-400).Originally posted by VaughanyParlay (treble): Sao Paulo PK (-450), Sparta Prague PK (-600), & Heerenveen/Willem II Over 1.5 Goals (-700).Originally posted by VaughanyParlay (treble): Sao Paulo PK (-500), Novara PK (-500), & Man Utd PK (-450)...
Sao Paulo have got a pretty strong team out for this Paulista game against Barbarense who are third from bottom and the only team in the league that are yet to win a game at home. However, they have also only lost 1 game at home while drawing the other 6 so this combined with fact that Sao Paulo aren't playing Jadson and Luis Fabiano has led me to taking conservative approach of just putting the PK in a couple of parlays rather than taking the ML or -1 A.H. They should still win comfortably as likes of Lucio, Toloi, Wellington, Fabricio, Aloisio, Ganso, and Osvaldo are all starting.Originally posted by VaughanyParlay (treble): Peterborough/Watford Over 1.5 goals (-450), Wigan PK (-300), & PSV/Ajax Over 1.5 goals (-600)...Originally posted by VaughanyParlay: Yokohama F Marinos/Frontale Over 1.5 goals (-450), Kyoto Purple Sanga PK (-333), & Athletico Madrid ML (-275)...Originally posted by Vaughany
Parlay (double): Woking PK (-162.5), & PSG PK (-500);
Parlay (treble): Woking PK (-175), Salzburg PK (-450), & Guangzhou Evergrande PK (-300)...
Fading Macclesfield again like I did earlier in week when I backed Mansfield -1 A.H., and should of done again on Thursday when they were away at Newport. They now have to play their third away game in a row and in the space of 5 days. Woking on other hand have had a week's rest since their 2-0 win against promotion chasing Wrexham last Saturday so should be much fresher. Unfortunately Woking's top-scorer Bradley Bubb isn't fit yet after injury which is stopping me from going big on this.
You can tell from Macclesfield's Manager Askey's comments yesterday that he doesnt have much hope of them winning this game and that his side aren't in good condition currently...
The Silkmen head to Woking for a fourth game in eight days as the season draws to a close. We spoke to John Askey about the Newport defeat and Saturday’s trip south.
We were beaten at Newport, but did you feel 4-1 was a fair reflection?
“We did feel a little bit hard done by especially after taking an early lead, it could have been different. But it’s tough for us at the moment. With the number of games we’ve played and the travelling we’ve had to do this week, there are some of them who are on their knees at the moment.
"But in the second half we had a go, but couldn’t get a goal.”
And what about Woking, another long trip with tired legs?
“In normal circumstances this season it’s probably a game we’d think we had a very good chance of getting a result. But these aren’t normal circumstances, and I think we’re down to 12 players fit at the moment. So we go into the game with one arm tied behind our backs, and unable to make any changes to take the fatigue into account. But they will go out and give as much as they can and hopefully be able to enjoy their football and get the result we all want.”
So we have more injury concerns?
“We already had Morgan Smith and Barnes-Homer out of action, but we’ve lost Ennes Fermino with a hamstring problem and Carl Martin isn’t fully fit after his operation. Craig Braham-Barrett missed out on Thursday with a knock as well. Obviously we can’t bring anyone in, and the lads will have to put in another shift. But then we have a full week off before Cambridge, and hopefully we’ll be able to sign off with a win.”
Originally posted by VaughanyParlay (treble): Novara PK (-600), NAC Breda/NEC Both Teams to Score (-162.5), & Heerenveen ML (-350)...
NAC will be without important defender Eric Botteghin who is suspended and still have some injury issues with defender van der Weg, and defensive midfielder Gilissen unavailable so I think NEC can score 1 or even 2 in this game despite important attacking mid Van der Velden being suspended and Boymans still being injured. The BTTS has hit in last 4 encounters between these two.Originally posted by VaughanyParlay (double): Feyenoord PK (-275), and Kasimpasa PK (-275)...Originally posted by VaughanyParlay (double): Newcastle PK (-250), & Feyenoord PK (-275)...
6 parlays profit, 4 losses.
Still pending:

#4206Vaughany, great job hitting 6 parlays. This is the only sport I find parlays being a useful bet seeing as the ML and altered O/U etc. can be quite juicy.
I missed a bunch of those parlays as I didn't read through all the posts and some I read too late...is there ANY chance that you could have one post a week or weekend dedicated to listing your parlays and add to it as you create them?Comment -

#4212Updated spreadsheet with record attached.
Strong month so far...only 11 losses out of 62 plays, bouncing back from disastrous end to last month where I made some very retarded bets (too high stake) on teams like Alfreton and Silkeborg.

#4214Cant resist fading Inter again with all their injury problems, so moderate play on Roma PK @ -109 away at Inter in Coppa Italia (Wednesday 17th)...
As if Inter didnt have enough issues with injuries, Gargano and Nagatomo both got injured yesterday against Cagliari so will be out. One concern is that Pjanic limped off Roma in their game at Torino, but still, with Totti, Osvaldo, Destro, and Lamela all available they have better offensive options than Inter who just have Rocchi, Alvarez, Kuzmanovic, and Guarin at moment. And Totti only played half the game yesterday so had a bit of a rest, while De Rossi didnt play at all so should be fresher. Roma have a good record against Inter in recent times, they beat them 3-1 at San Siro last year, and won 4-0 at home. Then this year they drew 1-1 at home in league and won 2-1 in first-leg of this cup.Comment -

#4216Funny that others brought this up, was just thinking you should have one thread for posted plays only and another for chitchat, banter, etc. Or a daily summary. The running commentary and feedback does make it hard to follow @ times. But that's a good thing, you're thread gets a lot of views.Originally posted by VaughanyWill put a summary of plays and group them all together in future fellas...I had so many though this past weeked that I'd lost track myself!

#4219Almere City PK @ +174 at home to Den Bosch...
This is a pure value play (small stake) as I think Den Bosch are being slightly over-rated here. Almere have won their last 3 home games beating Cambuur 2-1, Telstar 3-1, and Eindhoven 3-2. Den Bosch meanwhile haven't won in their last 5 games since destroying Sparta Rotterdam 5-1 away from home. The reason Den Bosch are the favourites despite only being a point above Almere and being away from home is because they haven't lost in last 7 away games and on paper have the better side with players like Van Brakel, Seuntjes, Vlug, Van den Broek, Wolters, and van Weert giving them great options in midfield and attack. Nonetheless, getting a home side that are in reasonably good form at +174 is too good to pass up, especially seeing as it's Almere's last home game of the season so should be the more motivated side and want to put in a good final performance in front of their home fans.Comment -
