Maybe I'm being a little optimistic but I'm seeing this one has a value bet. Zenit has to grab all the points they can't versus the "theoretical" worst team of the group!
FC Porto obviously (to me at least, bcs it's a team that I follow for years) it's the major favorite of the group. I could bet them to win against Shakhtar but at 1.65 there isn't enough value to risk my money, just bcs I truly don't know how good or bad are the Ukrainians. So my money goes to the Russians in the first journey of the 2011/2012 Champs!

I really like your thread and your reasoning behind making it (no chases, less action junkie). Like many others said, I hope you will succeed in achieving your goal.
However, there is something I would like to ask you about, if you don't mind. Seems like many of the picks in here vary a lot in bet size. How do you rate your picks? As an example the four CL plays tonight, x3, x3, x1.5 & x6.
Please take this like an open question about value, strategy and money management. I recognize you had a bad beat last night, but I'm not here to say it was a fix or something stupid, I'm here to get those euros back with you BG.Comment -

first of all thx for your words (I toke them as encouragement words).
Regarding the bet sizes units I use a simple system. If I see value in the bet , this is: the line is high enough for taking a shot and i'm not seeing it as a trap line by the books, I'll play that bet higher than usual! So the higher the value the higher the risk I'll take. Take yesterdays 15 units bet on Barça HT as an example.
Pre-game I saw them (Barça players) as going to the match full of anger (letting go 3 days before the 2-0 advantage at san Sebastian) in mind, adrenaline and ready for anything. Realistic we all have to say that apart from the 24 seconds goal, they did exactly that [one at the post, 70% possession, 4 times more strikes at goal and one beautiful play by messi resulting in a goal....all that on the first half]. Outcome of that bet: bad luck making me losing 15 units.
The other plays (between 1 and 3 units) most of the time I'll play heavier if I'm showing a profit in that specific market (league, type of play etc..)
Regarding the 6 unit play for today in Real I just don't bet more bcs of yesterday's loss. I don't want to feel that i'm chasing it or something similar. But in the end I feel really confidence on Real, in my mind I know that they will kill the game as soon as they can. I see them play every week (I have 12 different sport channels at home) and I know what they can do. I don't know sh*t about Zagreb but if Real shows up as usual it wouldn't make any difference anyway

hey grinder can i give you some advice dont mean to intruge on your methods, but it is better off to not lay the kind of juice that you did with barcelona HT. The problem with that kind of juice is that it can turnaround your record as it has been. If you stick to making bets that are 1.80 and better you will be able to grind out profits slowly, which is really the only way to be successful long term. If you bet anything with worse odds it has to be a smaller bet not a bigger one. Best of luck todayComment -
