Ugh, when I was texted the results, I got a little sick to my stomach. I could easily see Bayern not advancing, what a rough, rough, group. I knew whoever drew City would have it ugly. Just have to hope Villareal continues being sporadic. I see it ending:

1) City
2) Bayern
3) Yellow Submarine
4) Napoli

Though I wouldn't be surprised if Yellow Submarine sink Bayern. Should make for some great matches though!

I don't know if its rigged. Barcelona and Manchester United have the easiest draws almost every year, but even with a harder draw these teams would still advance so its moot.

This is interesting to note though:

CONSPIRACY! There is a problem in the draw for the last 3 teams," says Tristan Rudgard. "Ghenk is drawn third last and they list only Groups B and E that they can be drawn into (and therefore only pick balls for those groups). However, there is no reason why they could not be drawn into group F (Arsenal's group) as there are no other Belgian teams in the draw. Penultimate team is Trabzonspor and they place them into Group B as they show no other open groups - however, there is also no reason why they could not have be drawn into Group F. Finally Dortmund are allocated to the only remaining group, F. The system broke down and did not show Group F as a valid option for the last 3 picks. Redraw?" Let's not.

Also someone posted the knockout draw 100% correct a few years ago before it was drawn. It is not impossible to predict, but very unlikely. I'm sorry I cannot find the link.

I wouldn't put it past UEFA, but I have not seen much proof.

If I recall correctly, Bayern gets some easy draws, too. But United's draw is incredible. Don't know if there's been an easier group in recent memory. Personally, I sincerely doubt it's rigged; if it were, they'd certainly be less obvious about it.

My crazy, asinine underdog pick is Viktoria Plzen to emerge from Group H. I know this group contains the almighty Barcelona but I just have this strange feeling that Plzen will do well.

I hope you're right on Plzen. They are much better than most people will give them credit for. They'll need Barca to win every game and AC Milan will obviously have to drop some points.
