UEFA's rules for the draw will see the 32 qualified teams allocated into eight groups of four teams. Each group will contain a top seed, plus one club each from the second, third and fourth pots.
Each pot is determined by a club's UEFA ranking and the top two in each group will go through to the knock-out phase of the Champions League, and the third-place side to the knock-out phase of the Europa League.

I hope my team (Ajax) won't get a draw like last year again, with Real Madrid and AC Milan in it. But it ís possible that we get a group with four past CL winners (Borussia Dortmund from pot four would be needed then), that would be terrible.

For Ajax' sake I recon it would be good if we got Inter from pot 1 (so we couldn't get the best - AC Milan -) out of pot two. I don't really care who else we get from the other pots, every group will be a difficult one for Ajax. Frank de Boer is confident Ajax can reach the knock out matches, with a little luck with the draw, but I think we will end 3th again and give it a shot in the EL. Sad to say, Ajax isn't the Ajax anymore which could contend in the CL.

I remember a funny clip from lat year where I think a few Shakthar guys were sitting on a couch and they got drawn against Barca I think...just the letdown on their faces was hilarious...

Haha yeah I remember that! Shakhtar and Benfica look like the weakest in pot 3, whilst Man City look scary in pot 3! Dortmund and Napoli only good enough for pot 4 - hope to avoid those!

I know crazy right. A few years ago someone released the entire draw for the knockout stages about an hour before hand.

Manchester City have the strength of a 1st pot team so this will be real interesting.

Just got an answer!

My friend said cause between the first 4 groups was only one english club

and in the second 4 groups were already 2 english Arsenal and Chelsea!

That's why City was sent to the first group!
