Belgium Pro League: Sint-Truiden-Lokeren Over 2/2.5 [-118]
Sint-Truiden have been the leakiest defense early on, yielding nine goals in three matches. They have shown plenty of offense to try to offset this problem with six goals. Lokeren hasn't been scoring much, but could find their luck better against this porous defense.

Mexico Primera: Cruz Azul-Tijuana Over 2.5 [-110]
Both teams have been conceding in just about every match, while showing some scoring punch. Cruz Azul particularly has been better at home so far this season, while Tijuana seems dangerous enough home and away. See plenty of opportunities. We'll see if they cash in.

I think Belgium is my new kryptonite. I seem to be able to pick out the only match that doesn't have goals pretty well. This will be 2 for 2 if this holds up that I have picked a Belgian over that failed while the majority of the rest of the Belgian matches or as is the case today ... ALL the others go well over.

Taking a stab here. So many of these consolation matches in big tournaments wind up being more like exhibitions of offense. Pride surely will be there for both to finish 3rd, but both - especially Mexico - will be disappointed at being here and not in the final. Mexico had held Brazil scoreless until the last ten minutes of their semifinal match. Still, this will be France's top finish at this competition and Mexico's best in 30 some odd years. That's why I expect a spirited effort from both offenses here.

Mexico Primera: Santos Laguna +110
Santos has stumbled a little lately, but Monarcas are not a good side thus far. They have lost four of five. Santos appears to have looked ahead to this match as a must win at home as they rested most of their starters mid-week for CONCACAF play and still came away with a 3-2 win. They have the offensive potency that should put pressure on the visitors. If they can get an early goal, they could win fairly comfortably.

I'm in a good groove here after a slow start this morning/early afternoon. Refunded on the Santos Laguna pick due to the shooting outside the stadium and the match being abandoned. FC Dallas one might be set up decently for the draw still. They trail by one at the half.

They have conceded in each of their Bundesliga matches. Hertha Berlin has conceded three times in two matches and scored twice vs. Hamburg last week.

Yeah, guess today was the law of averages evening things out. Vasco fell asleep for the goal they allowed and wound up with a draw. Going to try the over in the night cap in MLS with DC United's regular goal keeper out with a hammy. Sporting KC concedes in most matches, so I'm expecting both teams to score and United may give up some softies without Hamid in net. Probably a good one to back up an over with a draw maybe too as both teams are looking for points. I think though if Sporting KC plays their faster tempo, we should see plenty of scoring opps.

Romania Liga 1: Vointa Sibiu +1 [-130]
Vointa Sibiu travel to take on Gaz Metan which is a local derby. Gaz Metan will have one eye toward their mid-week clash in Europa League action against Austria Vienna. They trail that 3-1 and face an uphill climb. They have to find the balance between preparing for that return leg and not dropping more points in their domestic campaign which is off to a slow start. Vointa Sibiu have no such worries as they have made good on all three of their matches with positive results. The players have reportedly been paid which is always good and that could have them knowing that results = money. In any case, I think the situation could see a draw as the result and hopefully at worse will see them not falling by more than a goal. Vointa Sibiu certainly looks capable of taking advantage of any distraction from Gaz Metan at this point.

Norway Eliteserien: Molde-Lillestrom Over 3 [-137]
Lots of goals following these two teams of late. Molde has played six straight matches where at least three goals have scored. Seven of the last eight for Lillestrom have seen the same. Seven of nine for Molde at home this term have hit for at least three. Think there should be goals in this one and hopefully we can get off a push of three with some help.

Need to make sure Dinamo is starting a full strength or close to full strength side before going in, but likely this is my only play.

Champions League: Malmo-Dinamo Zagreb Over 2.5 [-103]
Malmo trails 4-1 and of course will be attacking to try and get something that might swing the momentum for a surprising comeback. I think this outcome all depends on Dinamo. If they field a full strength squad or not many changes from last time, I see them making Malmo pay for their aggressiveness which means goals should be possible.

If Dinamo goes less than full strength, then I'll go Malmo +0.5 likely.

what do you mean malmo pay for their aggressiveness? Malmo lost 4-1 last time and only had 1 shot on goal the entire 90' ,they wernt agressive i dont get what you mean? Either way i like the play though.

That lone shot on goal don´t reflect their performance, at least not in the first half. They where in the game and looked threatening even tho they dident get any shots on goal. Im not overly impressed with Dinamo´s defense, against better competition they will get punished. I think Malmö will have more possession today, which leads to shots on goal and more scoring opportunities than in the first meeting. Malmö have to go for goals from the very start and be aggressive like EP says, in Zagreb they couldent do that because they dident have a lot of possesion and only attacked with few players. Many Swedish experts think Malmö underperformed in Zagreb, today they must show up and attack in masses which eventually will make them vulnerable in defense. Also, important Daniel Andersson wont be available today, he showed lots of heart in Zagreb and will be missed.

I agree with the bet, personally I might go for both to score -125, but none the less, good luck EP!

Not talking about the last match, talking about what I expect today with them trailing. Sticking with the over. Sammir in for Dinamo, that shows me they plan on scoring still.
