Mexico Primera: San Luis-Monterrey Over 2.5 [+100]
Monterrey has been playing a good brand of offensive futbol so far with eleven goals in four matches, while conceding in all but one match. San Luis won their home opener 2-1 last time out after dropping their first match, 2-0 on the road to PUMAS. Liking both to score here and with the way Monterrey plays, they should push for a second goal or leave themselves prone potentially to San Luis scoring multiple times.

Yeah this weekend was a downer for futbol so far. I missed out making a bet on the U-20 World Cup last night that would have won, but that's what happens when you're in wedding party mode! Back to winners now, hopefully.

U-20 World Cup: Brazil-Spain Over 2 [-140]
Both teams have been solid defensively, but these two squads are built for scoring. Spain unexpectedly played a stifling 0-0 draw with South Korea last round, but by all counts they had some good scoring opps early before they seemed to pack it in and play for the draw and a penalty shoot out. They won't have that luxury against a Brazil team that is too dangerous to expect to hold down for 90 minutes. Spain's possession game may allow them to frustrate Brazil some, but I expect it will also give them good scoring chances again. Chalk is up there on this one, but I think worth a go.

Finland Veikausliiga: Inter Turku -1 [-104]
One of the best home teams in the league against a team in Mariehamn that has only netted two positive results on the road this year. Inter won 2-0 last time they met in June on home soil.

Germany Bundesliga II: Eintracht Frankfurt-Fortuna Dusseldorf Over 2.5 [-114]
Frankfurt has come out with guns blazing as if they want their drop down to B2 to be just one season in length after being shipped out from Bundesliga last season. They have tallied seven goals through three matches with multiple goal matches in 2/3. Dusseldorf also has seven goals in their three B2 matches with two conceded. Seen quite a few picks around the Net with people on the home side which makes it a little scary, so I'll side with goals instead as I can see some scoring opps opening up in the one, hopefully.

Matches like that drive me nuts. So many chances and only two goals. I've been thinking about this for awhile, going to start tracking it ... seems like when my over tries miss, the draw at 1-1 is a more likely outcome than 1-0 or 2-0. Was thinking of perhaps testing out where I use 2 units on the total and back it up with one unit on the draw. Going to start looking into that and track it before I would ever think about using it.

HJK-Schalke Over 2.5 [-130]
HJK has to get on the scoresheet at home to give themselves any reasonable shot in the return leg in Germany. The good news is they have not been held scoreless at home in their last 18 matches overall. Schalke is expected to handle the Finnish side even with striker Raul staying at home. The Germans have plenty of attacking quality as shown with five goals over the weekend against Koln. They should be out to make the home leg of this tie as easy as possible, so I expect some goals today.

Greeks very strong at home, while Karpaty has not been a great traveling side. Karpaty has lost all three of their league road matches.

Iceland Deild 1: Throttur Reykjavik-Viking Olafsvik Over 2.5/3 [-107]
Six of Throttur's eight home dates this season have featured at least three goals. They have managed multiples goals in three of their last four at home and have kept just one clean sheet at home this season. Viking have surrendered at least one goal in seven of their eight road tilts, while scoring multiple times in their last two. Overall, Viking has hit the back of the net at least twice in four of their last five. Throttur has conceded some big numbers in their last five with 4, 5 & 6 goals scored against them in that span. The first meeting between the two at Viking back in June saw three first half goals, but stuck at three for the final.

Brazil Serie B: Duque de Caxias-Portugesa Over 2.5/3 [-118]
DDC has only been held without a goal at home twice in eight tries this season. They have conceded multiple goals in five of those eight with just one clean sheet. Portugesa has just two clean sheets on the road this season and they have hammered the opposition with ten goals in their last four roadies.

Unders killing me lately the few times I take them. That's probably why I avoid them mostly. Tough betting these leagues with only a couple matches in-hand, but I thought this was a good spot. Damn Bayern hadn't shown up yet and picked today to do so.

Swiss Super League: Servette-Grasshopper FC Over 3 [+101]
Grasshopper are very young defensively and it's shown as they have allowed at least two goals in four of their five league matches this season with three of those matches seeing them concede three or worse. Servette scored their first clean sheet against punchless Xamax which has failed to score all year. That also marked the only match where Servette did not score. Not a big worry as Xamax also held league leaders Thun scoreless the week before. Servette would look to be a big favorite to win here, but this is a derby-like match which could mean even an out-of-form Grasshopper team could step up and gain a result. That's why I'll go with goals today with both teams looking a little leaky in the back. Grasshopper are the key here. They need to step up and find a way to score again as they have not been finishing well lately.
