Took Arsenal ML to the bank in the previous fixture, and see a lot of value here. Barca are in a poor run of form (winning 1-0 instead of 4-0)and all Arsenal need is a draw (or high scoring loss). I see the gunners getting at least 1 away goal, 1-1 would not surprise me.

Too many fanboys on Barca driving the price up. L'Arse to qualify, premier league lets get it!

come on, dont compare Arsenal to Inter last year - completely different...

first of all, Inter had a brilliant coach and second, Inter is MUCH better than Arsenal (squad)...

people tend to dislike Barca (or want other teams to win) because they are so good but dont forget that they only won this cup twice in recent memory and actually deserve more than that...

as much as I would not mind seeing Arsenal go through, this will not happen unless something SIGNIFICANT affects the flow of the game, be it refereeing (red cards) or something else...

I am not saying that they will get blown out but I think they will win tomorrow and will advance on aggregate score (probably 2-0/3-0) and even if they win by 1-0, they will still advance...

My point was that even last year people that Barca would easily overcome a deficit in their home return, but they didnt. This arsenal team is different, more creative. They wont be as good soaking up pressure as Inter but they will be very dangerous on the counter (esp if Cesc/RVP play). As i've said, i dont see Arsenal not scoring and based off that I think they will qualify. Barca will maintain possession and create more chances, however, goals decide games.

It makes sense if Arsenal score, but that's the problem I don't think they will have many chances since Barca will hold the ball for most of the game. Even if Arsenal do get a goal Barca is the only team on the planet you can trust to score 3 or 4 goals against them.

Only good thing for Barca is that Puyol seems to be out and Pique also. Especially Puyol is a big loss for Barca.

Barca gets desperate when they're down! They may have the ball all the time and try to get into the defense but time goes on and they start to get desperate.

This is how I felt during most of the 1st game. You're bullet points are spot on.

One thing in Arsenal's favor is Barcelona's defense is extremely susceptible to pace. We saw it in the 1st game, and they will be even more short handed in this one. Arsenal will have a handful of counter opportunities which will likely lead to goal scoring chances. If they take them is anyones guess.

betting against Messi is never a good wager. No matter what happened in arsenal everyone watching that game saw barcelona dominated the whole time and just got caught with their pants down. i think arsenal has a good chance of qualifying as well, but I was more cautious and took the arsenal +1.5 goals at slightly better than even money... barca could dominate but that score could well be 1-0 or 2-1. Also, the public is all on barca to win no problem, i think its a trap game for them. better bet is roma though, they gonna win!
