i have a good run lately with betting against something (especially thanks to tommy for introducing me with betfair).
basically: lay draw, lay 0-0, lay 1-0 and lay over 4.5

why i do that? for me it is easier to bet an outcome that mayNOT happen (lay), instead to bet an outcome that may happen (back).
the downside is: there are usually high liabilities and not much profit. but i rather prefer small but steady profits than being on 50-50 side where wins are about equal to losses.

I have a question Decado.

It's not to much risk lay the 0-0?

If u win I know u win the bet then for example if u put 2x u win 2x if ends not in 0-0.

But if in a terrible case it ends 0-0 u can lose 2x*coeficient of the lay



I checked for example Mallorca - Almaeria

Lay is 14.5 so if u put 1x u win 1x.
but if u lose so u lose 13.5x?

this is why i need to be absolutely sure there will be at least one goal in a match and maybe a success rate of about 10 wins for 1 loss or better. so far i am doing well.

i don't play just to lay 0-0 either. a healthy mix of different things are better (lay draw, normal bets, etc). but here, i will only use my above mentioned strategies and see how it goes..

yeah. for that i expect goals within 30min and its all good. not in 70min.

i still can trade out though. if the game is really bad and there is no offense at all, i will trade out early to minimize the loss.
both mexican matches last night were having a lot missed chances so there was bound to be a goal at the minimum.
