Thread record: 2-8-0 -14.25 Moenchengladhbach ML 2.16 / to win 4 units Standard -1 1.90 / to win 4 Standard has a lot of important players back in the squad and need a victory badly. Borussia is in good attacking form playing at home, the odds are pretty good IMO. Honestly these might be my only plays for the many games tomorrow since they are big ones until I see something special / play live.

Even for the day, Standard pulled out a solid 2-0 win to cover the spread, Moenchengladbach failed misreably at home vs a team they should have beaten. My mistake today was not putting more on Standard who I knew had lots of important players back.

Anyways my strategy now is to stick with teams like Standard with the info, not even touch favorites unless I see them live. I'm loving Betfair's options on hedging and laying odds, but I don't really have time to post those since I have to concentrate on a live game when I'm laying a team, if anyone else is doing this open a thread and we can talk strategy.

EPL Early bets before money pours in

Man Utd - Liverpool

Liverpool looked pathetic vs Birmingham with man of the match going to Reina for keeping Birmingham from scoring 3 or more easy chances. United have suffered 2 last minute defeats vs Fulham and Everton even though they had a lot of chances, those were the only times we could fade them, now at Old Trafford they need to put out a statement win. Line sits at 1.78 for me right now, don't know how much it will drop. United really can't afford to drop any more points with Arsenal and Chelsea leading the title race.

Looking at other games, taking into account urgency for points and form of the last few games.

Maybe look at a few other favorites, for the rest it would be smarter to bet closer to the weekend/LIVE to see changes in the team.

Usually I go big on teams with this advantage, for example there is a game today I didn't post it was Barrow over Forest Green, same situation. But Westermann are bottom of the table, I can't trust a team like this with my money on a line like that (1.50 by now used to be 1.80).

Anyways, might put something small, but I'll save up for another game with missing/injury updates.
