I should have followed my instinct and bet PSV, rational fear didn't let me take the bet, and after all it was an easy win.

A simple way to see what kind of handicap they're offering is the number of lines.

If they offer 3 lines it's the European Handicap and a push will be graded as a loss, if they offer 2 lines it's the Asian Handicap in which case you get the push if it ends on the line.
