Here's what I do: I don't place my bets until close to gametime. That enables me to monitor the situation with the teams before gametime. That way, you can avoid bad beats like the Blackpool one.

Good thing I warned you about Blackpool, Wil. They are nothing more than scrubs. Any big teams can hammer than with at least 5 goals. A lot of people got fooled because they beat mediocre team last week.
