spain is not overrated. the other teams recognize that they have to be extremely carefull in how they approach them or they will cut their head off. give them some credit. it should be a great game - too bad it's not the final.

Silva played in the first game and was awful, Navas suffers from anxiety attacks but did look good when he came on and Pedros speed could be helpful. I hope Torres is dropped, if Spain add Fabregas to the already world class talent in the midfield I think they could win convincingly. They will have the numbers in the center of the park to crowd out Schweinsteiger and get their tique-taci going they will exploit the German defense. If you look at the Germany v Ghana game, Ghana another team who close down and try to control the midfield dominated Germany for alot of the game and created many chances.

I don't think Nevas looked good at all when he played. He was trying to create too much and do things he was not capable of. He didn't fit at all with the flow of the game, too much 1 on 1 play for him and he's not even good enough to be doing that.

Silva played well at Valencia this year there is no reason he should not be playing off the bench with fabregas in my opinion. Torres has been terrible but it only takes 1 goal to get that guy going and then he's a bigger threat then Villa. That will only happen once every 20 games though

Del Bosque seems to have swallowed his pride and is being the pragmatist he is known for, looks like Torres will be dropped. With the extra man in midfield, Spains total football will be hard for Germany to cope with.

Spain hasn't been terrible, they have been dominating games but with Torres its like playing with 10 men, he is clearly not the same player and is playing injured or unfit.

The penality retake did not even make sense and the retake should of been retaken again cause of the goalkeeper clipping fab on the rebound
