I agree Spain is overated.... but be careful Germany backers (myself included since I root for Germany all the way). Spain can really play some D and counter attack on the young Nazis. They didn't win the Euro on luck.
Our hope is Germany can keep on the attacks as they have been in the England and Argie games, with pinpoint accuracy.

Had a lot riding on Spain today. Thank god they came through for me. I'm done riding Spain though, they're not the real deal. Germany or Holland will handle them.

this isn't about history. Spain and the Dutch are both gonna be in the finals- there are no more "trends" in the world cup. Spain is an elite team you think its gonna be the same teams every single time?

This German team is too young. The only experienced guys are Schwine Podolski and Klosa. Did you see how Argentina's keeper was closing in when Germans attack inside the box. Some of the worst goalkeeping and defense I have ever seen. Argentina made Germany look much better than they are. Puyol, Pique and Sergio are all very aggressive defenders, Germans don't have any physical edge.

Podol and Swchine are both world class though and its tough to stop these 2 in space.

The German defense is not good. Argentina was playing selfish. Tevez and Di Maria were trying to do everything on their own when they were down 1-0. Spain won't panic if they are down. Their passing will wear out the German D and eventually they will break them down.

If Del Bosque stops being stubborn, ditches Torres, brings in Fabregas to make it 5 in the middle, the Spanish tiqui-taca will be in full force and be very hard for Germany to deal with. The Spanish would cruise to a win but if they play Torres again in the form he is in its like playing with 10 men.

If Del Bosque makes the changes they could win the cup without breaking much of a sweat and go down in football history as one of the greatest teams with their unique style and system.

Villa is great player, but Torres in not inform for sure. Maximum Spain can score is 1 goal. And Germany scored 3 times x 4 goals - last time vs Argentina. If Germany scores 1 goal, i doubt they will receive 2 goals from Spain. Its 60-40 chance for Germany up to me. I wouldnt say more becose we saw also 2 not that good games from Germany vs Serbia and Ghana. Still its semifinal and they will be 100% concentrated.

Fabregas is not the type of player to keep on the bench. No matter what team or country he plays for, he is just that kind of player that you start the first eleven with.

Spain passes a lil bit too much. They have a skilled midfield in Iniesta Xavi but when it comes to striking--Torres is playing like shit right now and the Germans can just put more focus on containing Villa. Germany is too smart of a side for spain. Spain hasn't been tested Offensively : Switzserland - Chile-Honduras-pORTUGAL-Paraguay, Maybe Chile but everbody else O is just Horrid . When those Germans get to passing and moving Pulo and Pique,slow reacting asses will be fouling in around the 18 and possiblyy giving a penalty up.

Germany 2-0 or 2-1

argentina's defense and midfield was never good. I said this before the cup started. You don't win cups without world class pieces in the midfield and aggressive defenders. 80 percent of the board will be on Germany, good luck to you all. you will need it.

Why hasn't he played Silva this tourney? Who is MUCH better than Jesus Nevas or Pedro.

Silva played in the first game and was awful, Navas suffers from anxiety attacks but did look good when he came on and Pedros speed could be helpful.

I hope Torres is dropped, if Spain add Fabregas to the already world class talent in the midfield I think they could win convincingly. They will have the numbers in the center of the park to crowd out Schweinsteiger and get their tique-taci going they will exploit the German defense. If you look at the Germany v Ghana game, Ghana another team who close down and try to control the midfield dominated Germany for alot of the game and created many chances.

Spain's defence looks a bit ropey to me. If they keep trying to play offside they will get burned. We saw it happen to Puyol and Pique in the champions league against Inter, they tried to play offside and got beat. If Germany can play incisive through balls with Ozil and Schweinsteiger they can score easily. Even Paraguay was trying to do this last night.
