I just noticed that if we beat S. Korea we will play the winner of the U.S/ Ghana game , no team is easy in this world cup especially if you are Uruguay , but the fixture helps a lot

Overall Uruguay are a solid team, good in defence with the inspirational and crazy captain Lugano and a world class strike force, more importantly they seem far less volatile than before lol good job Tabarez

Uruguay has a serious chance to make the Semi finals! No team is going to be a pushover but Jimmy we both have known about how good and underrated Uruguay were for a long time, they are a well balanced team with talent in every position, a great manager and world class strikers.

I wasnt very impressed with tabarez during the Qualifiers but he always said give me a month with all the players and we will be a different team, plus AUF respected the whole process and didnt fire him and we were doing bad , having pretty much the same team and coach throughout the whole qualifiers is paying off

bit of stability and continuity always helps, i think the Form Forlan is in , is a real bonus, at the moment he is possibly the best in the world right now, and is at his peak. A joy to watch

After the game when we lost to Argentina Heinze said something to him and he punched him , he got 4 games , 2 against Costa Rica and 2 in the world cup

Lugano almost started a riot in the big Fenerbahce v Galatasaray derby they love him in Turkey, he's a great character.

I would have liked Santiago Silva to make the team, would have been a surprise super sub who teams wouldn't have had time to prepare against.

I would have to agree with this, forlan looks confident out there, it took awhile, but i feel hes reaching his potential

The thing is that we breathe, we eat, we dream football ,all day everyday , growing up thats all we did, go to school from 8 to 12 , come home and play till like 7 and then go to team practice, comeback and watch soccer on TV its ridiculous

I personally have Argentina going all the way, but i wouldn't be surprised if Uruguay makes it to the end.
