The guy ran at Kaka, Kaka raised his arm so the guy got a bump in the chest from his arm, and the guy goes down like Kaka hit him over the head with a sledgehammer.
Big time flop and it caused Kaka to be red carded and thus suspended for the Portugal match.

Totally agree that the sport needs instant replay. Coaches should be allowed to challenge three plays per game. Same as in NFL. Then, if a diver gets caught, he gets the red card, instead of the other way around. Quick and easy way to clean up the game. As long as cheating is rewarded, players will keep finding ways to cheat.
The problem is probably money. Soccer leagues are not like the NFL, where each play is recorded from various angles. Many games are not on film, or may have a single camera, so instant replay couldn't be uniformly applied.Comment -

It's funny because I was just talking to my friend about how the Asian and African teams need to learn how to dive better if they want to provide more challenge to the top tier teams, who have all mastered diving. Right when I say that, African player dives and it results in a red card haha.
But from what I've noticed, most players hold their face no matter where they're it. I find it a bit funny.Comment -
The problem is that there's an advantage to gain from diving and being dramatic - it sucks cause grown men look like little girls, but when these guys are prepared to do whatever it takes to gain an advantage be it yellow/red card or free/penalty kicks.
There should be a video review committe that goes through the game afterwards. They should then be able to penalize players who's faking injuries and what not. That way the real time game isn't stopped, but players should think twice before rolling around on the ground cause it could mean that you'll miss the next important match.
To the people who think the players are weak and have no muscles - think about how slow and clumsy they would be if they had huge muscles. They're suppose to look like that so they can stay fast and agile.Comment -
