Confused on Soccer Bets at BookMaker
So... I'm confused why BM has three options for soccer games. To use the US v Solvenia match as an example theres:

    1st option
    US pk -205
    Sol pk +170

    2nd option
    US EV
    Sol +275
    Draw -230

    3rd option
    Over 2.5 +165
    Under 2.5 -200

Now option three is fine, no problem, but why two bets on the outcome of the game? I understand that the 2nd has a draw choice.. but how does betting on the US in option 1 differ than option 2?

Am I missing something that if I bet on the US in option 1 and it's a draw, I win? Basically that bet is anything other than Sol wins, is a win? Or would a draw be a push? If a draw is a push, aren't there two different odds for the exact same result -- US at either EV or -205??

Hrm, I figured this would be a quick answer... or have I already fallen too far down the page that no one wants to read?

If you bet 'pk', as in option 1, if the team you are betting on ties, then it results in a push, and the bet is refunded to you.

If you bet option 2, you are betting on a certain team to win, or for a tie/draw to happen. If you bet on the United States, and the score ends up being 1-1, then you lose your bet, because it resulted in a draw.

1st option: if its a tie you push, if they win you win. (whoever you bet on)

2nd option: they MUST win, a tie is a loss. which is why the odds are better and there is a "Draw" option

        Does that make sense??

It does make sense, but the odds still seem off to me. Like with England/Algeria its:

          Algeria +.5 +125
          England -.5 -165

          Algeria +900
          England -510
          Draw +160

With the the first, there's no draw/push option.. so one side is going to win the bet. But with Algeria +125 with the +.5 goal compared to +900 winning it outright... and a draw of +160, that just doesn't make sense to me odds-wise.
