I disagree with this bet after how SA started the tournament it's worth taking another upset here. Uruguay did not play well vs France, SA played lively vs Mexico.

i dont understand the difference between taking a team in the world cup pk or to win, if they win by 1 goal, dont both bets win?

Ditto. This is a HUGE match to say the least for that. A win and they should be in a position where all they need is a point in the Mexico match to advance. A draw wouldn't be the worst, but it could really log jam things depending on what Mexico and France do in their match. It'd be nice to get that win today to do basically kill off South Africa. Uruguay needs to attack more, hopefully they will.

ALL the hosting teams went on to the next round, ALL of them. If SA will do the same, they won't lose, I have them +1, not for that reason only, but also because they are playing well - 14 games without a loss.

Betting against the host team is scaring away a lot of people. South Africa is the worst team ever to host the World Cup they received an automatic bid into the tournament. Not taking away anything for SA and there opening day perforance but people are not giving Uruguay the respect they deserve. The first match between France/Uruguay, Uruguay played for the tie and to them it was a win even though it finished 0-0. They definitely have what it takes to score with Forlan and Suarez up top and they'll definitely be looking to score a goal or two today and play less defensive. My initial lean on this game was to take Uruguay PK but instead went with them ML. Going to be a close game but on paper Uruguay is better then SA in every aspect. GL.

Good info you got, but I wouldn't base my bet on those results. This is a different time and different tournament, teams show up differently on the bigger stage. I'm not expecting Uruguay to murder SA today.
